Davi' X Creeds - Kox!e Remix

This track, even though it might not be the best one I’ve produced so far, is quite important to me, as it taught me a lot about myself and the way I approach the music creation process.

When I started this project, I faced a lot of struggles: I had been lacking inspiration for a long time, I wasn’t sure what I wanted it to sound like, and my technique wasn’t good enough to create the sounds I had in mind. I lost motivation several times while working on this track. At some point, I started to hate it—I had trouble finishing the project and even thought about giving up on it entirely.

One day, I watched an interview with a professional electronic music producer. He explained that he managed to improve his skills and succeed by following some crucial rules:

    Don’t give up: If you feel that the project you’re struggling with has potential, keep at it! Overcoming difficulties will strengthen your mixing skills, and it forces you to think outside the box and explore new paths during the creation process.
    Keep learning: If there’s something you don’t know how to do, watch tutorials, learn new techniques, and try different approaches.
    Don’t overthink: Don’t worry too much about how people will react to your project. Even if it sounds weird or highly experimental, just do what feels right to you.

Finishing this track helped me improve my mixing skills—a lot! And even though I know there are still many parts that could be improved or better mixed, I feel that this track has truly helped me evolve. I couldn’t have asked for a better challenge during my transition from my previous channel, Ocryx Music, to this new one.

I’m now more confident than ever in my ability to produce music, and I know I’ll keep improving as I practice and experiment more. I hope I’ll be able to bring some great music to this channel in the years to come, and I also hope you’ll enjoy the upcoming projects.
