Mans pirmais liela mēroga darbs solistam, korim un orķestrim. Dzeja - Jāņa Elsberga poēma "Daugavas bulvāris". Ciklam piecas daļas, kuras ērtības labad neatdalīju.
Repo Edavārdi, pie bungām Andris Buiķis, basģitāru dīda Reinis Ozoliņš, dzied kamerkoris "Ave Sol" (tenora solo - Mārtiņš Zvīgulis), spēlē Liepājas Simfoniskais orķestris, diriģents Andris Veismanis. Paldies par šī skaņdarba ideju Orestam Silabriedim, bet par projekta koordināciju mīļa buča Dacei Zemzarei no "AveSol".
Pirmatskaņojuma ieraksts no Lielās Ģildes 2015.gada 4. maijā.

This is my first large-scale work for soloist, choir and orchestra. Lyrics heard on the recording are by Jānis Elsbergs, the poem is called "Daugava Boulevard". This song cycle is comprised of five parts which are running continuously on this occasion.
Performers of this composition are: Edavārdi (hiphop artist), Andris Buiķis (drum set), Reinis Ozoliņš (bass guitar), chamber choir "Ave Sol" (tenor solo sung by Mārtiņš Zvīgulis), Liepāja Symphony Orchestra and conductor Andris Veismanis. I am deeply thankful to Orests Silabriedis for initiating and kindling this idea and to Dace Zemzare for all the practical arrangements of the process.
The performance took place in Riga Great Guild on May 4th of 2015.
If I'm not much mistaken, this may very well be the first work for rapper, choir and orchestra in Latvian music history, so I might have managed to squeeze into music history books with this one. :D

I have been working on this album over the past months, producing all tunes, working on the collaborations & remixes and finding artwork. For this release, I commissioned drawings from Tokyo based Anime artist Kikai, while Kristof of NOSQRL graphics provides artwork for FSRECS, and the cover of this album. I've been testing all those tracks live during my bookings throughout Europe and even got the chance to play them in Tokyo - Japan, and hope you will enjoy them as much as I did over the last months - it's in your hands now. 
The album consists of various kinds of music I like and love to procude, crossbreeding Drum &amp; Bass, Drumstep, Electro and Dubstep - yet they are united by one common idea. They seek to push the boundries of heavy sound and are drilled to the maximum of hardness, hence the title: To The Threshold. I would like to thank all the people who were involved in the project, artists, graphic designers, and everyone who helped making this possible.
