Ant LaRock got his start on Todd Terry’s InHouse label in 2014, propelling him amongst House royalty and since then has been putting out consist House tracks under the mentorship of Todd into the New York House world. After several releases, 2015 brought major label remixes for the likes of Giorgio Moroder's pairing with Kyle Minogue on "Right Here Right Now" and future pop icon Petite Meller's "Babylove".  Ant's contributions helped both singles land heavily on Billboard Dance charts as well as on dance floors.

Ants new Universal EP for Nervous features the tracks ‘Universal’, ‘Deep Cracks’ and ‘More Love’ of which we premiere the lead track "Universal" on our Debut Transmission this morning. When asked about the EP he states, “It is an honour to have a release on such a venerable staple of House music. Nervous has been cemented in my record collection since the 90’s. I made tunes that I liked, that came from deep inside of me with no strings attached. The fact that Nervous felt that vibe is huge and pushes me forward" .

It doesn't happen often, but every once in a while one release is all it takes to establish you're dealing with an exceptional talent. Laurence Guy's debut EP on Church was one of those records: Four dusty, moody, intricate basenent workouts that tug on your heartstrings and make you want to crank up the gain at the same time. It found its way into the bag of some of the world's best and became a staple in Move D's sets and instanly made Laurence Guy one of the scene's most promising and exciting new talents.
The savvy folks at Rose Records cottoned on quickly and locked in a pair of tracks by the London-based producer for the latest episode of their immensely popular 10" series. Laurence Guy delivers on his promise and then some.
'Thinking of you' on the A is a fast-paced deephouse nugget that oozes class and panache. Melancholy piano lines set the mood, loose percussive rhythms set the pace, while Daniel Wang-esque vocal loops delicately weave in and out.
Flip over for 'Hutch', a midtempo burner that builds on the sweetest of string, crisp hats, hints of acid and yearning vocal snips. One of those tracks that - when dropped at the right time - will have people hugging each other spontaneously on the dancefloor.
A stonecold future classic from the Rose Camp then, introducing an exceptional talent to their already impressive manifest.

Plavas Beach resident Closed Paradise has been a constant source for deep and ethereal midtempo house jams over the last few years. His most recent effort, the Praise EP, on FINA Records is no different. 

While the A-Side is occupied by the Ben La Desh-esque deep house tackle "Praise", our premiere comes from the B1 slot. "Demon Avenue" initiates with sirens and street car sounds before building in with a brooding, lush synth paired with looping vocals and a thumping bassline. Once the drums kick in, the influence is clear; Homework era programming is all over the percussion and arrangement. A sinister lead and filtered samples enter the fray at the climax of the track to really ice this beefy French House cake.

When everything started to shut down in March and we got asked to stream our live set a few times, we felt that, rather than playing a whole show in front of cameras and to an empty club, we wanted to prepare something a bit special… even more so, as our NEEDLEDROP album tour got cancelled after just two gigs and we strongly felt the desire to send something out to the people who could not come out and watch one of the concerts this year. Somehow the idea emerged to take our instruments, a couple of speakers and a power generator outside, plug everything in and play a few new songs into the break of dawn.
The Drachenberg in Berlin, next to the Teufelsberg with the abandoned Echelon station on top almost instantly came to mind and luckily a few of of our friends wanted to join in on this and record the whole thing on camera.
So that’s what we did - packed our gear into a van, drove up there at four in the morning and greeted the day with a bunch of songs we felt were suitable for the occasion.
It truly was a magical moment for the two of us, and we hope you can feel some of that in this video. Enjoy!
