San Francisco veteran producers and champions of sound Romanowski and DJ Smash team up with NYCT’s Midnight Lab Band to a deliver a killer double-sided dose of Studio 2 versions. Originally released on Romanowski’s appropriately titled LP, The Return Of Steady Rocking: Romanowski & Friends, these two exclusive mixes take the skanking original in two divergent directions. When Romanowski meets DJ Smash, the drums collide at maximum force with a classic boom-bap downtempo beat echoing the heyday of the acid jazz era these two heavyweights helped invent. When Romanowski meets Midnight Lab Band, the beat floats into MLB's comfort zone of drum machine-fueled space age hypnosis. Pressed on opaque white vinyl and housed in an exquisite premium package illustrated by cartoonist Gideon Virgadamo, the single is a perfect capsule of the crew’s unique vibes and personality.

Studio 2 (Romanowski Meets DJ Smash)

House of Booo presents: rauh.
Based in Hanover, rauh. is a record label founded in 2011 by Session Restore. Since then, it has been a consistent force in the electronic music scene.
With nine vinyl releases to date rauh. continues to make its mark with carefully curated sounds.
The label also runs the podcast series "rauh_x", showcasing unique sets, and hosts various showcases and events, currently under the name "rauh im Indiego."

After being introduced to his first techno parties in the Berlin/Brandenburg area at the end of the 90s, it immediately became clear to the then-teenager that Session Restore would start DJing. In his sets, he enjoys blending timeless classics with new pieces, skillfully guiding his audience on a journey through techno, dub techno, and house. Beyond DJing, he is active as a producer, with over a dozen releases on vinyl labels such as Mojuba/a.r.t.less, Separate Skills, and his own label, rauh. Through his label, he hosts the mix series "rauh_x" and the event series "rauh im Indiego," which has been enriching Hanover's nightlife with artists like Rødhåd, Vince Watson, Mareena, Akua, and many more.

Her trademarked sound is energetic, bass-driven and UK inspired, taking in all manners of House, Techno, Acid and Dub(techno). The type of DJ that can fire up a dancefloor at any given moment of the night. It’s all about the vibe!

We are proud to present you our 34th release. For this release we have the very talented Ukka delivering an outstanding 2 track EP.

'Ukka’ has as its creator the Argentinean born Dj and producer Lucas Barrionuevo. As an avid music lover, this Buenos Aires resident has taken every opportunity his place of birth has offered to develop this inner passion for music. From an early age, the driving force behind this BA musician has led him into exploring different music genres that paved the way for what was to come. The vast musical experience that Lucas has gained by participating in different musical projects has helped him develop his potential and trust in his own musical style.

After releasing outstanding tracks on the Steyoyoke label we knew one thing. This guy is extremely talented and this guy needs to release on our label. So with this EP we got what we wanted. 2 great tracks where the drum work is more then outstanding and rhythm and the swing are giving the groove something special. Clever synth work combined with a spot on arrangement makes this EP one of our favorite releases to date!
