WotNot convinced K15 to let one of his house tracks out of the archive for the first time ever, as well as securing one of the few tracks to have been heard from up-and-coming wunderkind Glenn Kelly (Jeeks), before he retired early from the circuit. Four years after it dropped digitally, featured artists K15 and IMYRMIND have become household names, releasing music with Eglo, Wild Oats, Tartelet and Money $ex Records among others. This re-release also includes a new track from SexRulesEverything who also featured on the original release. The tracks on this EP still stand strong, and the vinyl drops alongside the release of Dancefloor Sweets Vol. 2, with more to come in 2017 !

Originally established in 2001 as a record store, Dublin-based All City Records also expanded into the role of a record label two short years later, in 2003. Since then they've had numerous releases from both up and coming, as well as established artists, receiving critical acclaim on more than one occasion. Not sticking to any one particular genre, their catalogue boasts of music from hip-hop circles to house influences to more experimental concepts and beyond. Releasing music from the likes of Folamour, Onra, Krystal Klear and Falty DL they are now preparing to welcome a newcomer to their roster.

Fellow Cork-based Irishman Colm K  doesn't have too many releases under his belt since his debut single with Elaine Dowling came out in 2011 on the always fresh Bastard Jazz Recordings. He penned another couple of singles for their offshoot BSTRD Boots, an EP for London-based R2 Records and a single for Seven Davis Jr.'s Future Society compilation on the same imprint. Now he's back, this time bringing his perfectly complementing hip-hop, funk and soul laced, sample-laden tracks to All City with a four song EP --- two of which are meant for the dancefloor and two for easy listening.

Our premiere today from the "Heights" EP, named after the place where he grew up, is the B2 track entitled Affinity. A slightly darker, late night number at its core, it actually starts off in a slightly jazzier direction. Then, combining some deep, dubby chords with scuttling percussion and hypnotizing vocal samples, it really turns into more of a tripped out groover, perfect for keeping those feet moving in the wee hours. This one, alongside the more peak time focused A1 track Seeing are both bound to cause some serious blisters on the dancefloor.

Dublin's All City crew can always be relied on for good music, and this cut comes from the first various artists release on their new @peardublin sub-label. The whole 5-tracker is quality, with this heavily swung wooze-fest from @peterbrien coming across like J. Dilla making house music.
