On 'Tosin Amire's music design, Oyedele raps to his dream woman, with a mouth full of promises to forever; he speaks in proverbs, adages likened to an old soul. Felt features a Kido, who sings a soulful chorus channeling the spirit of singers past-- the Ego to Lagbaja’s hits, Christy Essien Igbokwe and every pure soul that has felt strong emotional connection. Oyedele’s Dream Man mixtape is a ten track project that attempts to capture the yearning, passion and drive that usually comes with ambition. This project is a balancing act of euphoria and depth; community and isolation. All these weaved with soulful melodies and layered verses. 

Dream Man is experimental at its core, with Oyedele drawing inspiration across continents and eras. He reinterprets John Coltrane’s holiday staple ‘My Favourite Things’ in Midsummer Dusk (We the People), he dives into free jazz and presents a compelling performance on ‘Thought Experiment’ over Jay Kalo’s eclectic drum solo. Oyedele explores South African Gwijo, Reggae, Urban jazz and afrofusion to draw listeners into this new world of tentativeness, resolve, and wonder.
