This tune was originally composed by me during my first semester at Musician's Institute attending the guitar program. I wasn't able to stick around long enough so I could actually record the tune with real musicians and equipment so unfortunately this tune stayed as a digital composition (Guitar Pro 7) but I tried my best to make it sound good as a MIDI export. Saints of The Era is the soundtrack to a short story that I wrote back in the days which included lots of hatred and sorrow. The story is basically about a person whose consciousness has started to open up so fast that he can't handle seeing the cruelty and the lies that people build their lives upon. That brings out the sad and the loving -wanna change the world- part of him but then he realizes that he is actually one of them; he internalizes his thoughts and see the worst inside himself. As soon as he sees it; he tries changing it. The more he tries to take control; the more he starts to lose his mind and start filling up with hatred not to anyone else but himself and himself only. That's where the hatred would come out of him. The story proceeds backwards on the actual composition though. Because the idea for this soundtrack was to record a video/animation thats time-lapsed backwards while the soundtrack moves forward.

Saints of the Era

Cosmos is a follow up to Saints of The Era. The character starts accepting himself for who he really is and starts to realize the beauty around him. He admits to himself that there's a balance in contrast and conflict and that embracing this thought could take him to the uncharted horizons of the self and the life itself that is enjoyable and self-motivated. He finds the power and endurance in himself to stand up for himself and embraces the fights and all the confusions he's struggling with.

Cosmos

This is an original composition came out of a freely improvised studio session with my former band called Renee33 during our years of having a creative mindset.

Telescope

This is the first ever original compositon that I composed with my band Renee33 that we actually got to record it playing live in a studio. This tune is the very first improv session of ours; very first thing we played coming back together after 3 years. We cut things, added stuff, substituted; well not really substituted but you know, we tried to turn it into a song and this thing came out and I think all of us are proud of it. It's totally raw, unbalanced and in bad quality. No mixing/mastering either. But I think it gives enough idea about the song and what we tried to do with it. Along with all of my compositions; this one has a story as well. But this song doesn't just belong to me. It was and still is ours as a band; just like Telescope. The lyrics actually brought the story to the song. Writing the Lyrics, I think Ergin Balci (Vocals/Keys)says more than enough about it.

From The Beginning

Again, one and only improvised take of ours for this particular take  that almost turned into a song as Renee33. While we were just jamming on a bass riff that Cem came up with; Ergin started singing the lyrics that he randomly wrote. He always wrote stuff and we -actually he- tried to imply those lyrics to that particular improvised harmony going on at the moment. He picks his lyrics based on the feelings and the energy he gets from us jamming in a small studio room. All of our songs were composed this way although we couldn't turn them into real, high quality, correctly formed pieces; we tried our best to keep these up and alive as much as we can.
