When you are happy being alone, suddenly a person arrives and transforms your life forever. You shun the pain of the past and wonder conquers the night like the rising sun.

When you are hypnotized by the eyes of your love, you speak nothing and communicate everything. You allow the thief of time to pillage the hoardings you used to ruthlessly defend. 

When a voice as sweet as a chime masterfully plucks the strings of your heart; your floodgates break and the sandcastles wash away.

When you dive into each others oceans, you discover the treasure that you hid from others as well as yourself.
The solid gold melts and courses through your veins. 

What used to pass by you like traffic now stops you dead in your tracks. The vistas of your inner fields drink from the torrential downpour as you dance in the rain. 

When the embrace of your love shudders you to the core, the tears pour, time stops and your tender hearts beat passionately and innocently in tandem. You see how much better it feels to cry than to be tough and dry like a stone. 

As you careen down the rapids, through the rivers of uncharted feeling, you laugh as you fall with the crumbling of your inner foundation.

Then you don't let go until the last possible second before you say goodbye. You now walk down a new road, but you struggle to see, because your eyes are filled with rain and lightning... but the lightning lights the way and now you swim with the rain.
