In Ozel AB's Words:
I recorded this mix as a companion piece to my new self released EP. It was the first time I’d really considered how the track selection compliments the EP and vice versa. Theres been a lot of fantastic music released since the clubs reopened and most of this mix is new stuff I’ve been feeling in the last month or so. The end result is an ode to UK dance music.

With a strong discography from the likes of Workshop, Third Ear and Lobster Theremin, Luke Palmer aka Ozel AB has been turning heads in the realms of leftfield house and techno since 2014. Now putting out the first offering on his own self-titled label in May we are delighted to premiere one of these four new tracks from the man himself. Series Parallel is 5mins and 25 seconds of raw bleep styled techno that brings you back to a 90's warehouse with a fitting subtle cut up vocal throughout and an addictive bassline to match. An essential listen coming into the long weekend. Ozel AB's "OZ001" drops early May.

There was a flickering glow which dazzled and sparkled atop the water of the lake. The last of the summer sunlight was beaming down warm and hot on the open expanse as swimmers took deep breaths and swam in what would be the last of the season.

It was magical up here in the mountains, some called it a zen like paradise. He’d spent many months here, sat by the side of the lake, sketching and drawing the sights and things he saw before him.

Never had he imagined that it might all come to an end quite so quickly for soon he would be back home amongst the tall buildings and the concrete constabulary.
 
Ozel AB is a producer who has released an array of forward thinking electronic and club focussed EP’s on the likes of Workshop, Lobster Theremin and Third Ear.

Now he is launching his own record label, an opportunity for him to showcase recent material and explore new sounds. The first EP features four tracks, with this being the A1 taken from the record.

Ozel AB - Science of Sleep [Third Ear Recordings]

Meet, Luke Palmer aka. Ozel AB; a guy who has been geothermally steaming under the crust for a fair few minutes now; well, about four years actually - stringing a series of stellar releases since his debut release on everyone's favourite crustacean, Lobster Theremin back in 2014. Not stopping there, the London based producer combined with cult heroes Workshop and recently released the genre bending Infinity EP on established East London based experimentalist imprint Third Ear Recordings. 

One thing to note with @ozelab is his broad sonic palette demonstrated through his workings, ranging from his distinct style of dubby and ambient deep house, to his raw tripped out techno. This is most definitely reflected in his hour for us, giving the fabled FH mix machine a real work around on it's delicate yet tireless buttons and knobs. Luke's taking you to orbit and back with this one - hope you make it back.
