Atrices „Terra 589“ Release brings you into a spiral full of Invertebrates and future technologies, things that neither possess nor develop a reality in its own breed. 

Instead of releasing vinyl this time, we‘re focusing on a new way of presenting audiovisual projects- The full release will be available as a game, POV wandering thru worlds full of creatures and the story of the developement of the species. We will showcase a WIP of the final product thru 4. Singles before the 5 original tracks will be available on bandcamp.

It’s Guillermo Lucena's first full EP ever- we're happy to start his journey on Ozelot.  
The sheer weight of repetition spilling out of his track "Balada Lenta" is remarkable and brings the simplicity of a 303 into new fields of depth - A tool full of blissfull euphoria.
This kind of release proves the range of musical input that comes into his creations- 
Being a part of a catalan rock band called „Fotos De La Novia“ and being a part of barcelonas clubbing scene combined.

"Mi Corazon" is a beautifully executed piece of beautiful dub moments, topped with a big chunk of melancholy, heartbreak and hope.
First time ever we're releasing remixes on Ozelot:
The title track being deconstructed into a maintime tool by our friend O-Wells from Berlin, while one of Ozelot's headhonchos Manuel Fischer delievers a spirally, tooly and frickly broken remix for the late hours.

Radiofear’s EP Skyline, captures the contemporary
experience of inhabiting the megacity of Seoul, where a
myriad of concrete buildings extend themselves to form
a skyline. The album begins with a track called ‘Asphalt,’
which refers to the hard mixture that makes up the
pavements and roads of a city. Despite its rough and
lifeless appearance, it provides a firm ground for the
pedestrians and vehicles, holding up their weight. The
track therefore carries such duality of coldness and
warmth associated with the streets of a metropolis.
The next track ‘City Report’ is an intuitive response to
the speed of urban life, consisting of fast drum sounds.
Meanwhile, ‘Morning Shift’ paints an image of the dark
blue sky at dawn—a sight that greets people as they
walk out of their houses to go to work in the morning.
The last and main track ‘Skyline’ takes inspiration from
the diversity of elements that comprises a city, from cars
driving by to the lights blinking on billboards. Taking each
observation and encounter as an ingredient, Radiofear
builds a vivid image of his home city, where endurance,
vigor, and solitude coincide.

"With his newest LP „Exxodus“, Zurich’s Manuel Fischer returns to his home base Ozelot, presenting ten meticulously crafted tracks that refrain from ever only being one thing or the other. Sitting comfortably between genres like IDM, Dubstep, or Electro, Exxodus is a representation of Fischer’s current musical interests and a story of artistic progress. A story which, at its core, has always been about exploring new frontiers and finding new means of expression. It only makes sense for Fischer to release „Exxodus“ with Ozelot, the discipline-bending collective he co-founded in 2017: what started as a record label soon developed to become a creative studio working in a broad range of artistic disciplines. In line with this approach, the project presents itself in different ways, embracing all its transcendent potential: next to its physical manifestation as a transparent double vinyl, designed by Skala Design,Jahn Koutrios and Guillermo Lucena, it’s the foundation for Fischer’s new live AV show, for which Ozelot will conceptualize and create and execute the visuals. Coming to a town near you in Summer 2024. For the digital space, the studio imagined an experimental and playful way to access the music, using the album as malleable base material in an immersive website. A familiar approach we’ve already seen for Ozelot’s latest release, the Skyline EP by Radiofear, and which is now established as an essential element of every new project, taking the convergence of the virtual and physical realm seriously. 
„Exxodus“ succeeds in being many things at once. Mainly, it’s a musically confident body of work and an adequate follow-up to Fischer’s first long player „Roadkill Grill in Novosibirsk“ from 2019. 
Many of the elements he favors as a producer are in place: the Electro-informed groove on “Imperil”, a warped sample on “Rusty Chair” (is that a dog barking?), and shuffling granulated breaks everywhere you turn, like in “Rehbinder Effect” or “Parallel But Never Crossed”. Additionally, the scope of the project allows for it to be read as an act of collectivity, in which a group of creaAves comes together to discover new artistic possibilities. Written by Fischer, in his hometown Zurich and further South in Switzerland in the secluded Ticino region, he consequently extends an invitation to others to get involved.

We’re happy to announce “Planetary Shift” by our friend O-Wells with an additional
remix by Bangkok's finest Sarayu from More Rice. An EP that combines friendship and is a
long overdue Ozelot-cosmos release.
After we heard “Planetary Shift” a while ago for the first time, we kept insisting on releasing
it- Now we’re happily presenting it to you in the form of a 4 track EP.
The record orbits around O-Wells’ signature style: dub-inflected drums, slithering synth lines,
and percussive patterns that never sit still. There’s a sleek futurism to these tracks, but they
feel worn-in, like spacecraft that have already charted the edges of known space. Across the
EP, O-Wells embraces tension and release—rolling low-end pressure that swells, only to
dissolve into weightless melodic fragments. The result is music that feels in constant flux,
forever shifting through sonic terrain without losing its pulse.
Anchoring the EP is a remix from Sarayu, a key voice from Southeast Asia’s flourishing
electronic scene. Known for threading traditional rhythmic sensibilities into contemporary
club frameworks, Sarayu flips O-Wells' abstract groove into something tactile and urgent. His
version turns the track inside out—primal percussion and humid atmospheres pushing the
original’s spacious minimalism toward a more grounded, earthy palette. It’s a vital rework
that expands the release’s global reach, bridging Frankfurt and Bangkok through the shared
language of rhythm and friendship.

Manuel Fischer – Bassline Providerz 3 - reviewed by Mathis Neuhaus (zweikommasieben magazine)
After releasing his debut album „Roadkill Grill in Novosibirsk” on Asquithʼs Lobster Theremin imprint last year, Manuel Fischer returns to his very own label Ozelot, to take care of unfinished business. What has been started together with label mate Prioleau on the EP “Bassline Providerz 1” comes full circle one year later with Fischer taking sole control on “Bassline Providerz 3”. The Zurich-based labelʼs sixth release completes yet another trilogy, after the Black Belt Academy series that ran from 2017 to 2018, and marks an end and a beginning alike: from this point on, there will be no more trilogies, which opens up a whole lot of other exciting possibilities for the label. New artists, new concepts, new ideas. Moving forward, a more fluid approach allows to aptly react to all the inspiring things that are out there. Ozelot Ltd. unlimits itself, if you want.
But before all this will unfold, Manuel Fischer hammers it home with “Bassline Providerz 3”. As the EPʼs title suggests, the three, well, provided tracks are dancefloor material par excellence. You can listen to them wherever, of course, but while doing so, you will better be imagining yourself on a dancefloor; as dark and dingy as possible.
Take A2, the prophetically titled “Doomsday Preppers”, as an example: it is hard not to think about sound system culture and the best records that came out on Orsonʼs Version label while listening to the trackʼs broken structure and dub-informed bassline.
Perfectly executed in house tempo and with enough going on to transcend mere tool- status. Let me put it this way: you will recognize a roller when you hear one. “Doomsday Preppers” shares the A-side with “Dark Shark”, its slightly more nervous- sounding sibling that makes use of a complex drum pattern and a memorable melody youʼll might catch yourself whistling after listening. Finishing off the EP is “Barking Shiba in Shibuya”, a trance-informed hymn that launches into space and does not (want to) make an effort to come down again until the very end. With “Bassline Providerz 3”, Manuel Fischer crafts three strong arguments for the dancefloor. In June
2020, at a time where clubs are still closed and the opportunity to dance is limited to oneʼs own home, he reminds us of better times that were and better times that will be. These three cuts will make you want to get down to business.
