Tsurugi is an individual deeply embedded in the underground techno scene, with his feet and passion firmly rooted. Tim may well have been our first-ever international attendee, visiting from Washington in the United States. He mentioned coming alone after spotting the lineup on social media, using it as the perfect excuse to revisit the UK for a musical journey. Since then, he has committed to this annual dance, becoming a true hero of Above Below, cherished dearly in our hearts.

Tsurugi has released podcasts for platforms such as Monument, Sure Thing, and The Vortex, while also gracing the stages of clubs in Berlin, Tokyo, and the United States. In his podcasts, Tsurugi smoothly blends nature and techno, reflecting the symbiosis felt in the Chiltern Hills at Above Below.
