For the second episode LATCh ON we invited Unknown Jo aka Jonez.

Born in the nineties and grew up in a suburb of Hamburg, Germany. He quickly developed a love for electronic music which he has been presenting to people since 2015.

After club gigs in Berlin(DE), Hamburg(DE), Kiel(DE), Prague(Cz), Zurich(CH) and Zug(CH) from 2015-2022, he has dedicated himself to the production of deep tech and minimal for several years. Last year his first track was released on Tzinah Records ‚‘Jonez - That Little‘‘

In his sets, Unknown Jo combines deep bass and twisted sounds in his DJ set to create an experimental listening experience.

Drawn to dance music from the age of 14, his journey has taken him through a wide spectrum of genres, eventually grounding him in the rich textures of house and techno. Alongside his well-known YouTube channel, Verzila has been a key figure in supporting emerging talent.

In 2017, he founded Welter Records, an independent label focused on spotlighting up-and-coming Romanian and international artists. A few years later, he launched Inunct Music—an open-access platform dedicated to freely sharing music and giving creators space to express their vision.
