Kick Back (Beat maker of Da Shogunz) and K Banger (Emcee from New Jersey), first began working together in 2010, and later released the track "Ode To New York" on the Cosmic Trippin' 12" in 2012. Beats were exchanged for cultural history and knowledge, and supplemented with historic rhymes, thanks to K Bangers extensive involvement in Hip Hop culture since the birth of it. With a slew of unreleased tracks, Ozone Crew is proud to present 2 of some vaulted collaborations between Kick Back and K Banger.

Side A - "My School"+*

- My School can be broken down into relative situations between a master and a student, or a teacher and a pupil. With an affinity for old school Kung Fu flicks, Kick Back first heard the main samples as background music used in "Grand Master of Shaolin Kung Fu". Once he tracked down the samples on wax, some demos were produced. Vocal snippets were also used from the movie. Fast forward from 2010 to 2014, where Kick Back resampled the same wax and updated the track, utilizing the Akai MPC 60ii for the whole of the beat, as well as inviting Amsterdam's own Jan Driessen to play his Alto Saxophone live in the studio. K Banger displays his mental prowess as he provides lessons to be learned in the art of shaping the youth and expanding the culture, through the classroom.

Side B - "4 Times 4"**

- 4 Times 4 can be taken as self explanatory. A rugged mix of a commonly known, yet hard to find sample, and updated 12bit drum rhythms. The track was originally made and recorded in 2010. Once Kick Back obtained his Akai MPC 60ii, he resampled the sounds through the machine, and created new 12bit drums to underlay the original track. With cuts by Da Shogunz own, Mr. Nylson, and cosmic Kung Fu rhymes by K Banger, the track reminds us how the art of rap used to be raw. As put by K banger, "All the waste from the airwaves is washin' ashore".

So we're back after a short time, NJ in the house,  here's Crystal Lake - Hidden Files Vol.2  this volume is composed of 10 songs, 8 sick unreleased recorded in 1996 to the 2000, never pressed in neither format, except for   "Mental Ward - Choose Ya Fate" & "Crooked Anglez - War" that were only included in one of the more dope indie records "Low Budget Butta" on 1997 and were reissued again in this record after of 20 years! .

All tracks were produced and mastered by C. Vorheez, written & Performed by, Les Jah, Sludge Champ, Master Poet, Flex-Man, Slo Flo aka Big Slo and C. Vorheez! All tracks are from Mental Ward and Crooked Anglez..Raw Shit!

We are back with a legendary group from Bridgeport / Connecticut, is about Connecticut Kartel and their album "The Question Is?" 

The Connecticut Kartel consists of Ed Vorhéez a.k.a Yahiness a.k.a The  Lyrical Jasun, Drama a.k.a Authentic Da Boss & Verge Body (RIP) These guys joined in 1995, 22 years ago with the intention of building their album called "The Question Is?" Which consists of 9 songs. Two years later in 1997 the album was released on CD & Tape format And a single 12" of 4 songs  through Chase Entertainement, which included a Short Version of the song "Money Clips". Nowadays it is hard to find a copy of any of these three formats. as they were pressed in a amount very limited. Some of the hip hop heads may feel familiar with the song "All Out" Which was transmitted for the first time  in the program
Bobbito & DJ Premier on August 10, 1997.

Ed Vorhéez a.k.a Yahiness a.k.a The The Lyrical Jasun. Had several appearances in the 90's along his way as soloist, one of those was in the record of 36Zero (The Troubleneck Brothers) - "The Lyrical Jasun" on 1995 definitely a sick joint .. Also you can take a look on  internet there are some interviews of Ed Vorheez aka The Lyrical Jasun with The Troubleneck Brothers for Yo MTV Raps Canada.

Today is commemorated The 20th Anniversary of the album "The Question is?" So here is pressing on vinyl the  full abum. Including 10 songs, among them a unreleased song recorded in the year 2000 never before pressed in any format. Was also included the original version of "Money Clips" Which was only pressed on CD and Tape, So only 3 songs were reissue for this LP.. All tracks were remastered by the Spanish producer, MPadrums from "Pasando El Baño" and "Back In The Days"
