This HOMmega episode features ORIGINALS, the psy duo celebrating the release of their debut album 'Originate' with this exclusive mix, which blends some of their unreleased tracks, with the album highlights and some previously released tracks. This mix delivers the intense dancefloor energy that Originals brings to a party. Leon Gossler and Ran Malka blend nu-school machinery beats with raw acid sounds to create a powerful and original Psy-trance. The story behind this duo is quite incredible, Gossler suffered from a severe head injury caused by a car accident in 2005 and Malka was diagnosed as half deaf at the age of 16. Music production seemed almost out of their reach, but nature has its ways and eventually, it led them to adopt a unique and very different approach to their production process. The impact of Originals’ music immediately caught the ears of leading artists and DJ’s that are already smashing the dancefloors with it and led them straight to the roster of HOMmega Productions.

[en] “Play My Birthday” is my birthday party in musical form.
I invited artists who have been part of my journey in psytrance to create tracks that would be my gifts: each one carries a piece of history, affection, and shared trajectory.

This V.A. is an affectionate record, an encounter of worlds that have crossed paths in my sound and in my personal life. There are people who have been with me since the beginning and artists who came later to expand, add to, and open new eras alongside me. If my birthday party were music, this would be the sound of "Happy Birthday," and that was the intention of the album: to unite the beginning, the middle, and today in a single story.

“Play My Birthday” doesn't just celebrate my birthday. It marks a turning point, a rebirth, a new phase of my project and my life. And, like any good surprise party, this V.A. arrives with that feeling of:
“nobody was expecting this… and that's what makes it so enjoyable.”

Convidei artistas que fazem parte da minha caminhada no psytrance para criarem faixas que seriam os meus presentes: cada uma carrega um pedaço de história, afeto e trajetória compartilhada.

Esse V.A é um registro afetivo, um encontro de mundos que se cruzaram no meu som e na minha vida pessoal. Tem gente que está comigo desde o começo e artistas que chegaram depois para expandir, somar e abrir novas eras ao meu lado. Se a minha festa de aniversário fosse música, este seria o som do parabéns, e essa foi a intenção do álbum: unir o começo, o meio e o hoje em uma história só.

“Play My Birthday” não celebra só meu aniversário. Marca uma virada, um renascimento, uma nova fase do meu projeto e da minha vida. E, como toda boa festa surpresa, esse V.A chega com aquele sentimento de:
“ninguém estava esperando por isso… e é isso que o torna tão gostoso.”

Natural Displacement is the Debut – Physical Album release from Selective Mood and Nocturnes Creatures. In the end of summer 2015 they started to work on a tracklist which can really be united in one concept:
Because all of them have dedicated their lives to spend everyday in the studio, in front of displays, making weird noises, they tried to show up how controverse that is, with the reason their music actually is about: To connect again, with one self and especially the roots that society has lost over the long process of industrialisation, the Nature.

With that in the back of their heads they came up with a nine track Album which should give you an imagination of how far the displacement from nature has affected the way we live and the way we create. Upon all of that, the album doesnt miss any of the charm, both of the two projects have to offer. Heavy sounding basses, squelshing and rythmic leads and dark atmospheres.

So be prepared for one of the most exciting releases of 2017.
