The first rough outline of a song by Barnhill/Goodwin. It needs a middle and for me to sing it without forgetting the words - most likely tweak the instruments too. But I need it here to bounce off of.

This is just a little idea I'm working on. A Father determined to take his daughter to the other side of the river to a new life in a better place. They face being shot, captured, imprisoned or whatever but for the sake of his child, he has to do it. Nothing concrete about it yet, just toying with lyrics and progressions.

Heard a piano riff in Magix which I liked enough to build on and write a song around it. The idea in my head hasn't translated very well as I can't do the 'deep' vocal I envisage for it. The lyrics are temporary - I only wrote them a few hours ago so that I could record the whole thing and keep a permanent record for when I want to return to the song and make it better.

Begged, stole and borrowed ideas for this New Year song idea - Hopefully by New Year 2016 I'll have a version of it recorded with a band and it'll be ready to run. The lyrics are pretty shallow especially toward the end - but only because I haven't had a great deal of time to really structure this - Everything has been thrown into this - Some live instrumentation with VST and synth instruments too, as well as sampled sound. It really does have everything but the kitchen sink...Used Mixcraft and Magix to try and wring something out of it - Behringer mixer and Mic for all the vocal work - Karma reverb on the vocal.
