BIO:
gizA djs are an eclectic DJ/production duo from Italy. gizA is an acronym of their real names Gian Pietro and Tiziano. Their collaboration began in 2005 playing together in the parties organized with their project Xtreme Festival.

The gizA djs started from 0 in the field of productions, at the beginning of their career they decided not to look for shortcuts using ghost producers, but they decided to do everything by themselves. Over the years, through productions and releases for small labels, they have slowly learned and refined the techniques of production, mixing, and sound design, allowing them over the years to come to the attention of the great DJS and A&R of some of the most important labels in the underground panorama. During the years they released on Diynamic, Exploited, Katermukke, Glasgow Underground, Eklektisch.

Jaime Salome, de 22 anos, também conhecido como MAZOR, mora no Goiás atualmente e, mesmo que tenha crescido em uma cidade sem uma cena de música eletrônica ativa, ficou atento ao underground a partir de 2011, quando o Brasil passou por uma onda de atrações daqui e do restante do mundo que iam bem além do big room vigente na época. 

Sua abordagem na discotecagem ficou um bom tempo como hobby, e posteriormente, começou sua atuação como um ponto de conexão entre o público e novos artistas. Criou a label Resurgemus e nela promove um podcast que, até o momento, recebeu nomes como Redu X, Nicolas Ruiz, Ezek, Lele Vecchioni, Stranger Tourists e Mariz, muitos deles com sets bem mais longos do que o comum, o que promove um escopo mais claro das pretensões musicais de cada artista, incluindo ele mesmo, como podemos ouvir no seu set “Memento”. 

Significados aparentemente ocultos são algo constante em sua comunicação e há uma razão para que seja assim. “Resurgemus”, por exemplo, significa “entrar em ascensão”, em latim. MAZOR, em hebraico, significa “cura”. Em interpretação subjetiva, Jaime considera então o poder de cura da música e esta lhe traz ascensão. Assim, ele atravessa os sentidos do público com uma fusão de techno e house progressivo e melódico em várias qualidades.

Underspreche | DHI | Podcast

Underspreche are the Italian duo of Marika Della Torre and Simone Campanile. Together they produce music that deftly balances emotion and multiple world influences with a tougher edge dedicated to the dancefloor. It's easy to hear the diverse background both members have grown from in their music. Simone, a seasoned DJ and music collector for over 20 years also studied music theory with a particular emphasis on African and Indian methods of composition. Marika, raised on a diet of classical and opera music has always possessed a deep love for singing, writing and poetry. When the pair met over 10 years ago an immediate bond was formed and Underspreche was born.  Counting Keith McIvor of Optimo fame as an early admirer, the pair would begin to release music via his imprint Optimo Trax. First heard on a split 12, their EP Subterrenus would come in June of 2016 followed by their debut LP that December entitled "Invito Alla Danza”. Since then Underspreche have gone on to release music on a multitude of distinguished labels like Innervisions, Endless Flight, Correspondent and Permanent Vacation with their brand new EP entitled "Poet-Ease" dropping on Maeve this September.  For live performances Underspreche deliver what they call a hybrid set, a marriage of live synthesis and vocals with the backbone of DJing resulting in a unique and often mesmerizing experience. Always committed and honest in their approach to what they do, Underspreche are pure talent in today's electronic music landscape.

Underspreche - DHI Deep House Ibiza Mix

Peter & Moritz, die zusammen Thys & Taylor sind, legen seit sechs Jahren zusammen auf. Peter kommt aus Belgien und zog 2011 nach Marburg. Dort lernte der heute 30-Jährige auch Moritz kennen, der wiederum seit seiner Geburt 1988 in Marburg lebt. Peter zog es dann vor einem Jahr nach Frankfurt am Main. Als sich die beiden kennenlernten und ihre gemeinsame Musikleidenschaft entdeckten, war Moritz schon in einem Kollektiv tätig. Peter nahm das Angebot, dort mit einzusteigen und mit Moritz aufzulegen, an. Das damalige Kollektiv hieß Marbylon und war sehr bekannt im Kreis und der Umgebung. „Marburg ist ja als Studentenstadt bekannt und daher gab es auch einige Kollektive, die Partys in Clubs und illegale Raves in benachbarten Wäldern veranstaltet haben und wo wir auch immer hingegangen sind“, erzählt Peter.

Als die beiden vor sechs Jahren das gemeinsame Auflegen starteten, war zunächst die Idee, insbesondere von Peter, Drum ‘n‘ Bass aufzulegen. Schnell war aber klar, dass Peter & Moritz auf Techno setzen. Mittlerweile bewegt sich ihr Sound zwischen House, Deep House, TechHouse und Melodic Techno. Im Grunde genommen alles, was sich Techno nennt und für sie geil klingt, wird mit ins Set aufgenommen.

Neben Thys & Taylor verwalten die beiden noch die Podcast-Seite „Tonspuren“. „Hier fragen wir immer wieder Künstler, die wir kennen oder deren Musik wir geil finden, ob sie Interesse haben, etwas für uns aufzunehmen“, erklärt Peter. 2016 nahmen sie an einem DJ-Contest von „Jeden Tag ein Set“ teil und belegten den ersten Platz. Lohn war ein Gig auf der Mainstage vom „Burning Beach Festival“ in Nürnberg. Ein Jahr danach gewannen sie den Contest beim Bonner „Panama Open Air“, auch hier durften sie auf dem Festival auflegen. Ihren besten Gig hatten sie nach eigener Aussage auf dem „Aftrsun Festival“ in Belgien. Die club- und festivalfreie Zeit ist natürlich sehr frustrierend. Aber wir versuchen, immer wieder Sets aufzunehmen und neue Musik zu finden, die in unsere Sets passt. Daher haben wir uns auch sehr gefreut, dass wir etwas für die Zwischenmiete aufnehmen durften und hoffen es gefällt euch auch“, so Moritz.
