Alcatraz, now known as P Shade. From Oxford North Carolina, he got into hip hop at an early age. Known for his witty, gritty, pen point delivery, he was given the name Alcatraz, because of his bars. 2001 he met MBTheSic, with these two different styles came an Outkast vs Mobb Deep sort of contrast. Together they started the Pimpin@4:20 crew/movement. Later the two formed a  rap group called Malcontent in 2002, wrote, produced and recorded an unreleased EP. He is the founding member of G.Y.S (Grave Yard Squad) who he has recorded several mix tape albums with. In 2010 he wrote, produced, recorded and self released his first solo project called "Another Fucked Up Holiday". He is now working on his second album and is currently in the studio with Dark Keys on production.
