Planetary Cymatic Resonance (Feat. Crystal Delight)- Earth Year Tuning 136.1

Stimulating and activating sound journey based on the Earth's daily rotation cycle. 194.18Hz for a vitalizing and dynamic recharge.

This track is a sonification of the earth's medium rotation cycle of 24 hours. The first well perceivable tone of this rotation is g'=194,18Hz (24th octave). 

This frequency is also said to hit the resonant maxima of our DNA-Chains and therefore lead to increased cellular growth as Max Lüscher showed in a test with drakes. (Lüscher, Max: Klinischer Farbtest, Basel 1970) 

The corresponding color is orange-red, which is also the traditional color of the indian sannyasin monks. It is said to be invigorating. 

We generated this track out of the overtone structure of this basic frequency and creatively ride on this natural wave phenomenon to transmit its information through the medium of our sound journey. We have only used just intonation scales and calibrated as many elements as possible (i.e. tempo and frequencies in all used frequency bands) for accurate sonic alignment.

An excerpt taken from an improvised live sound meditation at Essentis in Berlin on Jan. 01 2016. Based on the resonance of the Synodic Moon, the frequency is 210.42Hz. To further portray the cosmic alignment, pitch and time are connected. The corresponding tempo is 98.6 beats per minute... all rhythmic elements therein adhere to this relationship.

Corresponding to the guidance of the Cosmic Octave, this frequency stimulates sexual energy, supports general and erotic communication. The color spectrum is orange and represents Svadisthana - the second or navel chakra.

The first seven tracks were composed during a live performance at Klangtage Berlin in March 2016 while accompanied by Hans Cousto. Thrilled to perform alongside the father of the Cosmic Octave himself, PCR bridged the gap from scientific explanation to immediate experience by guiding the audience through their internal resonating solar systems. 

The movements of our planets are expressions of permanently standing waves that surround us like fields of information. By transferring this vibrating information into hearing range, we can relate to it and resonate consciously. Through days, weeks and months of repeated listening and refining, PCR was able to fine tune and hone in on sonic elements that allowed them to experience deep meditative states, harmonious sleep and heightened active concentration periods. 

Whether you want to dive deep into meditation, grasping impressions of our luminaries, or need a nature related anchor to help stabilize your mood during everyday tasks. Planets & Chakras will do so by guiding you through seven aspects of our universe that, accordingly to the Cosmic Octave, equal our seven chakras.

A memento of our robotic musical escapade with dadamachines. Designed as a meditative Gamelanesque composition, we’ve tuned the associated instruments to 136.1Hz and use the corresponding mathematically calculated pitch and tempo associated with the Earth’s yearly rotation cycle. The rhythmic patterns are prime number euclidean arrangements that constantly shape-shift, creating a sense of therapeutic relaxation.

Jove's Crimson Delta is a beautifully unique binaural journey based on the octave transpositions of Jupiter’s sideric movement around the sun. It takes the biggest planet of our solar system approximately 4332.588 days to return to the same point in its orbit(1). Utilizing basic mathematics, Planetary Cymatic Resonance was able to convert time into frequency to determine the fundamental pitch and tempo. Timo Preece and Steffen Günther have finely tuned their binaural composition to correlate with the orbit of this heavenly body around the sun.

The fundamental frequency matching Jupiter’s rotation period in its  29th octave equals the root note of F# at 183.58Hz (36th octave). All other time based parameters, such as tempo (86.05BPM), binaural beats, delay and reverb computations are derived from octaves of this astronomical frequency. The binaural pulsing equals 2.87Hz which sits in the delta region. This is the brainwave pattern that we reach when we are in deep sleep. According to Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, when listened to on headphones, binaural beats alter the listeners brain waves to the binaural pulse and may be used to reach altered states of consciousness through brainwave entrainment(2).

Planetary Cymatic Resonance wants to provide anchors for an emotional connection with nature and help increase inner awareness.

For this, we are synergizing a symbiosis of acoustic and synthesized instruments, bridging the gap between scientific calculation and ancient wisdom, every Saturday at 3:30pm CET+1. These events feature freshly tuned versions of published and unpublished work in the realm of calming ambient meditation, psychedelic chill-out, energizing sound journeys and experimental art.

Because of our friendly relation to the great Harmoniker Norbert Böhm, we are able to implement tuning data based on the angle speeds of any planet in our solar system. These calculations correlate to the position of each planet on its ellipsoid movement around the sun. All of our instruments, custom sounds, and arrangements calibrate to this data, providing our listeners with the most unique and authentic planetary tunings possible for the exact moment of the stream.
