Falling Ethics' sublabel Moral Standards presents their first V.A. with a stellar lineup of some of the most relevant names of this era. 

P.E.A.R.L. starts off the 4-tracker with a groovy and stripped back tool, whereas Not A Headliner contributes a rather driving track, typical for his sound. On the B-side Ryan James Ford comes with a heavy thumping track led by staccato synth stabs. To close off the V.A., DJ TOOL has the deepest and most trancy cut with stripped back drums and dreamy synths.

After his magnificent debut album 'Trust Me' from last year, Xupid once more delivers four explosive dancefloor weapons in his own remarkable style. Working on a high pace he works his way from percussive bass stepper 'Fractal Keel' via the playful hard groovers 'Hexing Hour' and 'Planet Creep' to a more subtle dub house affair 'Direct Dub'. There was a time when to die was something slightly different from what it is today. Back in the last days of the middle age, some hidden monk was concerned about how to die properly, according to the catholic standarts of that era, so he wrote a book that was a cornerstone in that period.
This has been the leitmotiv and ispiration in the concept that drives this album, the Ars Moriendi book from 1415, a book that gave some clues about how to die properly, avoiding lack of faith, despair, impatience, avarice or spirituel pride, all those actually track titles in this compendium.

Preview Falling Ethics LP001 / Temptation Through Impatience by P.E.A.R.L.

The 12th installment in the Falling Ethics series is an adventurous piece of work. Tensal & P.E.A.R.L. team up on this split EP to showcase their production styles which are mainly built around crafty drum loops and buoyant synth experiments. 
Tensal takes care of the A-side where he takes care of one flaming Techno cut for the dancefloor which is followed up by two adventurous pieces of electronica. P.E.A.R.L. also took care of three cuts on the B-side. The opening track ''Joy Of Rapture'' is a straight forward demonstration of machine heavy Techno.  ''Fall Before You'' is a deep and soul wrenching cut that showcases P.E.A.R.L's more delicate side. "Red Flame" is a piece of horror reminiscent ambient.

French electronic music stalwart ''Umwelt'' has produced some modern day classics throughout his career. After a string of releases for several renowned music labels this time around, the Lyon based musician joins P.E.A.R.L.'s Falling Ethics imprint and comes up with the thirteenth installment in the series. ''Strange Attractor EP'' is a well balanced EP that showcases several sides of Umwelt's signature style that sits somewhere on the edges of Techno, Electro, Adventurous Electronics and anything in between.

The release opens with a rough machine work-out called ''Nocturnal March''. After this, with "The Collapsing Empire, the sound changes dramatically into one of Umwelt's signature adventures with cinematic electro. The title track (B1) maintains the electro'ish ambiance of ''The Collapsing Empire'' but the french artist adds some taints of paranoia to the mix resulting in a unprecedented dancefloor effort. ''Across The Abyss'' is a treat for anyone that's been into Umwelt cinamatic sounding escapades. Three minutes of sweltering synths beautifully aligning with a scorching bassline.

We are glad to intruduce you this new joint venture, CRVEL are P.E.A.R.L. and Tensal colliding in the studio with the aim to create cyclical weapons for the most osbscure dancefloors. Raw synth lines, crispy high frequencies, continuous sequences and plenty of details and subtle twists that keep the flow going. 
Four exercises of futuristic techno with no turnabouts, straight to the point with a timeless attitude.

Preview Falling Ethics 014 / CRVEL - Veritate et Ordine

P.E.A.R.L. is launching the fifteenth installment of his Falling Ethics series with two versions a serious club destroyer that have been released on the label back in the early days of Falling Ethics. Sorrows has been reflipped to a 2018 version that is sounding modern, large and in synch with the current esthetics in techno music. While this version can be located on the B side, on the A side we find a larger than life CUB version (Karl O'Connor & Simon Shreeve) that will definitely turn some heads over the next few months. Reworking classics is not always needed but in this case, it's a welcome addition completely in harmony with the times.

The forthcoming falling ethics effort - FEXELVN003 - contains tracks by three stalwarts of modern day techno. UVB's 3000 years of lies is a work of percussive endurance which contains five minutes of thumping drums, a low down synth roar and several squeeks of fx. Kastil's Arcanism is an hypnotic endavour into uncharted territories. The main sounds have a repetitive and clear quality that pierce through eardrums and will grab the attention of crowds. Amsterdam based Dimi Angelis closes down this three track effort. ''Flirting With The Machine'' is a lenghty voyage into pure synthesis. A monotonous sound with razor sharp clarity serves as the spine of this track while the kickdrum dictates the pace. Adventurous music at it's best.

'Moral Standards' is a tough opening track by label owner P.E.A.R.L. that is dancefloor oriented and packed with an almost tribal vigour. Preview Falling Ethics 017 / P.E.A.R.L. - From The Ashes Of Hope

Falling Ethics Records is branching out with it's brand new sub-division ''Moral Standards''. The first release in the new series is a 4-tracker by label owner P.E.A.R.L.

On the A-side we find No Fall Damage Part 1 & 2. The first part is on the emotive side, combining the drumwork P.E.A.R.L is known for with an extended synth line that provides a minor melancholic touch. On the second part, things are turned up a notch, with increased emphasis on percussion elements and vocal chops. A nervous sounding short synth-line creeps in that helps build the strong ambience of this version.

On the B-side, Matrixxman and Blue Hour provide remixes for ''We Will Not All Fall''.

For the B1, the Matrixxman remix is a mechanic and big sounds sounding piece of work using a sub-low bass that's reminiscent of early dubstep records. The Blue Hour remix is a break beat and trance infused cut using a taint of acid to lift the whole to a dancefloor oriented piece of work.
