On the threshold, liminality in seclusion. You and I
all species and all objects occupy a sound bandwidth
on a spectrogram, a voice to feel heard.
Ongoing eco-squatting and evacuation under human pressure.
Are we bypassing reciprocity, trivialising wander and mystery?
Decency has a traceable nomenclature, a legacy.

I sense your cavitation
drought, self-imposed.
Then conserve, archive.
Never forget how
insignificant we are
and yet decisive.
Unlearn and de-familiarise.
I won’t set my own frequency
below 500 hertz.
