Perfcto is a rapper and producer who is about conveying this untouchable form on the mic no matter what the theme is. Born in Maseru (capital of Lesotho) and raised in Johannesburg and Ghana, his environment had a huge impact on his style where he was surrounded by beat makers and emcees. Inspired by the Rza and Dr.Dre, he began the process of rapping over his own production with abstract lyrics ranging in topics from seeking success, opportunity, and wealth to dark themes found only in graphic novels. “I like to keep a raw sense of my interpretation to MCing” says Perfcto. After studying film abroad at New York Film Academy he starred in the TV series Oceans 3 introducing a new generation of South Africans to Antarctica  . His high powered performances include opening up for Hip Hop legends Canibus at the Bassline in Johannesburg and for Talib Kweli at the popular BTTC (Back To The City) Festival. In addition he has been nominated for an Independent Music Award for Best Rap Album alongside Masta Ace and has had his music placed in two films Vehicle 19 and Othello Burning. “My inspiration is really from an era where being dope was about feeling and showing everybody that nobody can touch you, not in a provocative manner but in a more positive one” says Perfcto.
