We’re delighted to finally share with you PROXIMITY III, the third instalment of our annual Pure Space compilation series. Across the 19 tracks, 22 artists find synergy across the spectrum of experimental electronica.

Creeping through deep d’n’b, blisteringly fast idm, and percussive club cuts across to bass laden experimental music, blissful tech and peak energy techno, we hope this release provides an access point for all electronic music lovers to explore the depths of the so called ‘Australian’ subterranean music landscape.

100% of proceeds will be donated to Aboriginal Legal Services; based in Redfern it is the first Aboriginal Legal Service in Australia and the first free legal assistance service in the country. www.alsnswact.org.au

Venezuelan born, Berlin based producer Manao and forward thinking UK artist Tom Place combine on the collaborative ‘Vorticis’ EP, via La Bonne Musique. The impressive four tracker is rounded off by a remix by experimental club music producer and dj, alys(alys)alys of the title track. 

The idea behind Vorticis came from the concept of fusing elements of classic electro & dubstep. The concept of Vorticis was originally to see how a fusion of dubstep & electro sounds would work in a club environment. As the EP progressed they realised that it was more than just an experiment. They had carved out a new direction and were excited to share it with the world.

Tapping into the influences of Japan's thriving scene, Tokyo-based artist Hirotaka Umetani, AKA Albino Sound, continues the LEFT series with 3 tracks, each exploring a distinct strain of techno.

Albino Sound’s unique synthetic production veers heavily into peak time energies on this EP, injecting a charged electricity into his archetypal spacious, metallic sound design & upping the tempos - intricately weaving sharp, resonant highs through heavy, sound-system rattling lows for striking, high contrast effect
