London based Rich Clancy is another homegrown talent to join the Anjunadeep ranks this year. Making a name for himself over the past year with excellent releases on lauded labels like Dirt Crew and Kitsuné, along with sets at Glastonbury, Space Ibiza and Secret Garden Party, we’re excited to welcome Clancy’s fresh sound to the label.

Deep, brooding, and capable of doing some real dancefloor damage, “I Wanna Know” blends nostalgic progressive house elements with a contemporary bass-driven approach, complete with compelling vocals from Eli & Fur. 

B-side “Revolutions” is again built around a beefy bass groove, accompanied by mystical melodies and stripped back percussion, allowing the low-end progression to build through to the finale.

Dark Sky "Rainkist (Marcel Dettmann Remix)" (MTR051) Out October 10, 2014

On a mission to bring smiles and an element of surprise back to the dance floor, Berlin imprint Arms & Legs continues to build on it's solid foundation of quality releases featuring an eclectic mix of deep grooves, blissful melodies, throbbing bass lines and some good ol funk. Now in it's third year, the label is set to release 'Motion's Twelve' it's first album compilation of all exclusive new material. The 12-track release showcases a breadth of new and established talent from their stable, including the likes of Sascha Braemer, Hugo, Harry Axt and Kristin Velvet to newcomers such as Sqim, Matthew K and Le Hot Club. Label heads Daniel Steinberg and Nils Ohrmann also make an appearance, pitching in a shimmering tech house bouncer and deep rolling house cut respectively. The unmixed compilation will be available digitally November 2014.

Featured in the iTunes chart topping compilation Anjunadeep 06, mixed alongside James Grant, “Paramour” is the latest addition to Jody Wisternoff’s enviable Anjunadeep catalogue.

Fusing his classic progressive house roots with a deep and melodic modern sound, “Paramour” sees Jody at his adventurous best, exploring an epic two minute breakdown flush with Detroit-esque stabs and tear-jerking melodies, all rising towards a momentous fist-pumping drop and menacing bassline.

Rising star Clancy follows his debut Anjunadeep release “I Wanna Know / Revolutions” with a moody remix, twisting the feel-good atmosphere of the original into murkier territory. Bouncy melodies make way for brooding atmospherics, whilst capturing the climactic breakdown in an altogether different light.

Jody Wisternoff - Paramour (Clancy Remix)

Göttingen/Germany based Label "Shaker Plates" starts a new sub label. With a limited 200 piece edition on vinyl "Rüttelplatten" tries to catch the people on the danceflooor and also the regular listeners of modern electronic dance music.

With "Just Before I Leave" and "You" Steve Cole & Ronald Christoph provide the young label with two Deep Tech House smashers for a good start.

Label owner Gunman does the Remix for "You" and the french Artist Eddy Romero gives his interpretation for "Just Befor I Leave".

So these guys are just one part of the Rüttelplatten Family. The next members are already in pole position. Watch out!
