We’re happy to announce Stavroz’s first EP on Moodfamily: 'Silent Spring'. Having already released on labels such as Bedrock, Wired and Délicieuse Musique, the Belgian band is ready for their highly anticipated follow up, delivering an EP ready for sunscreen and ripe for the picking. 

In the title track, frivolous bass guitars accompany a broadly shouldered melody and gently carry the track to glory while a snug piano hides in the breaks, building a beautiful contrast. 'A Great Day to Fly a Kite' brings horns straight from miles high, happily intertwining with a ruthless groove, pushing the atmosphere and delivering a quirky impact on the dance floor. [ENG]The semiconscious state of the world of imagination, connecting without commitment facts and fictions, is the thematic-musical chosen to represent the sequences of release "Devaneio" (“Daydream”). Have you ever had the feeling of not knowing if you are awake or dreaming? We can concentrate our mental energy on the "here and now" but it can be healthy to allow ourselves the privilege to let our minds wander.

We thank the group of artists who kindly offered their compositions. It is an interesting mix of producers, pushing the sound in all sorts of new directions. We shared out the clipping among five releases, which tends towards the slow feelings. It seems like a vortex whose fluency explores elements of a fantastic world, which populates a dreamlike universe. This universe reproduces a little of the daydreaming’s wit, whose randomness is a striking fact. Therefore, the question that channels this whole plot is simple. What happens next?

Podemos concentrar nossa energia mental no "aqui e agora", mas pode ser saudável permitir-nos o privilégio de deixar nossas mentes vagarem.

Agradecemos ao grupo de artistas que gentilmente ofereceram suas composições. É uma mistura interessante de produtores, empurrando o som em todos os tipos de novas direções. Nós dividimos as faixas entre cinco lançamentos, que tendem para os sentimentos lentos. Parece como um vórtice cuja fluidez explora elementos de um mundo fantástico, que povoam um universo onírico. Esse universo reproduz um pouco da sagacidade do devaneio, cuja aleatoriedade é um fato marcante. Assim, a pergunta que canaliza todo esse enredo é simples. O que acontece depois?

Im Sommer 2015 auf Ibiza fragte Jo.Ke, der in dieser Nacht mit Feathered Sun spielte, @mommusic, ob er „How Strange“ kenne. Luis Couñago Luque, so der bürgerliche Name von MoM, griff zu den Kopfhörern und hörte sich die Nummer an: „Ich war total vom Sound der Flöten begeistert.“ Also nahm er sich der Nummer an, um einen Remix nach seinen Vorstellungen zu basteln. „Ich sprach mit meinem Freund ANuT (@soul-36), und wir begannen, mit dem Track herumzuhantieren." As the final piece of her 25th anniversary, DJ Isis is now presenting her new project ‘Isis & Mozes’ to the world. Their debut EP 'OSTARA' is released April 12th, 2018 at KROOKS Records. OSTARA is the outcome of an intensive collaboration with her new studio partner Mozes.

On OSTARA, Isis & Mozes worked with different musicians, instrumentalists, and vocalists. These are the key ingredients that formed the basis for the compositions made by @isismozes. In addition to the electronic parts of the compositions, Isis & Mozes used different types of instruments featuring Mozes on guitar and Isis on vocals.

A natural for stirring melodies, Berlin-based @samshure channels his all-around manifold array of talents into his new EP, „Mirage“, taken from his forthcoming debut album „Laconia“ on @stilvortalent. Shure says: „“Mirage“ is a collaboration with my father who plays the Oud lines in it. I had the main groove of the track ready in my Berlin studio and felt like it needed some acoustic element. „Kamala Bani“ was the first collaboration with amazing producer Cioz.
