With the help of a 2001 Toshiba text-to-speech program I poured my heart and soul into a whimsical little tune about the death of Japanese cartoons as an art form.

My entry for the Future Funk Sample Flip contest. Had a ton of fun working with the sample and with pushing myself to see how far I could get all those delicious textures to go.
This tune was conceptualized as a journey through both my own take on the future funk sound and the roots and inspirations that have molded it throughout my own development as an artist.

[Future Flip Comp] Retour vers le futur

My hand at a remix off the iconic Split EP by SUPERSEX420 x TENDENCIES for Montaime's competition.
I was immediately caught by the energy of Fastlane and wanted to crank it up into the huge dancefloor-smasher it deserves to be, while simultaneously reimagining the simple yet classic tune with some all-new grooves.
