Newcastle-based DJ and producer melba drops a quartet of tracks on Hypercolour, ‘angel 777’, blending 160 BPM rhythms, punchy 808s and bright, playful synths.

"'angel 777' came at a time in my life when I was feeling really happy and hopeful," melba says. "I usually only work on one project at a time, and this track evokes a lot of positive emotions for me. Normally, I go through countless revisions with my music, but this one felt right as it was. The track title is a reference to alignment and trusting in self-guidance."
