The text for this work was written for the character of Omnia in my novel Monument To the Unimaginable. It is the final entry she writes in her diary before she commits suicide.

The text also doubles as an elegy for my father, Mike Amlehn, who died on March the 28th, 2015.

Text:

"Sometimes I think I see him, a face that might be his - but isn't, that distinctive walk of his - but it's not him. My desire almost, but not quite, gives his ghost a body. 

He no longer belongs to any place or to any time that I have right of entry to. 

He belongs only to the irrevocable instant, the instant right after the heart has been given away and cannot be taken back. To that moment when the earth tilts and the sea rises. To the moment when the horizon is skewed to a curve. When one has to run away from those who love them too much, or from those that cannot love them enough. In that strange between time. When the time for loving has ended and the time for remembering has yet to arrive."

The new release emerges as a spontaneous offshoot of the artist’s ongoing Mithraic trilogy and reflects a deep, three-year exploration of Zoroastrianism, carried out in collaboration with the Romanian label Mask Of The Slave.
This latest chapter, set to be released on the Sardinian imprint Wild Drone Music, delves specifically into the Towers of Silence—structures historically used by followers of Zarathustra’s faith, and still utilized today by Zoroastrian diaspora communities in India for the exposure of the dead. In accordance with ancient Zoroastrian teachings, corpses are neither buried nor cremated, but left to decompose naturally, in harmony with the elements.
Musically, the release navigates a delicate balance between dark soundscapes and ritual tribal ambient, further enhanced by a reinterpretation from producer WTTM (alias of Matteo Frau), who brings his unique perspective to the project.

Prophet of End Times is not a name — it’s a diagnosis. A statement of intent. A trigger. A warning.

For those paying close attention, this project began long before the music arrived. Long before the signals were transmitted. Long before the world tilted past its breaking point and pretended it hadn’t noticed.

This isn’t performance. It’s process. It’s prophecy by distortion, melody through the ruins, dissonance weaponized. A mosaic of failed systems and burned timelines, rebuilt in layers of noise and silence.

You’re hearing architecture. You’re listening to strategy. Every frequency, every glitch, every warped harmony carries data. Every lyric is a crack in the wall.

Somewhere in the signal:
a map.
a message.
a matchstick.

You are not expected to understand immediately. You are expected to pay attention.

Because nothing here is arbitrary.
Not the song titles. Not the sound choices. Not the silences.
Not even this bio.

There are people who will find this. Who will feel something they can’t name. Who will know where to dig.

Not all puzzles look like puzzles.
Not all transmissions arrive decoded.
Not all prophets wear robes.
