Elysia EP *Previews*

Founded in 2020 Future Avenue is an electronic music imprint which operates under the Sound Avenue umbrella. Sitting alongside fellow subdivisions 3rd Avenue and Crossfade Sounds, Future Avenue looks to provide a home for new and rising talent. With an ethos centred around progressive music and its surrounding derivatives, the label is a platform which gives up and coming artists a chance to showcase their music alongside established veterans as they carve out their own musical identity.

The 71st release welcomes Facundo Borras from Buenos Aires, Argentina to the label with his 3-track original EP "Across The Universe".

Premiere: Ninshū - Past Moments - Blessed Cross Records

After having appeared on Manual Music's Explorations album last year, Brid & Snyder now drop their latest single on the Manual Deep label and bring along SamYra for the ride.

'Love Me More' is deep, mysterious, very musical and intense at the same time. SamYra's vocals sound hippie-esque and actually quite haunting in combination with the piano which is being played during the break.

A proper brain trip for the openminded electronic music listener.

'Northern Life Records are proud, and a little dizzy with excitement, to present Freak Seven’s debut long player ‘Ya Bosmang’.

The LP release date is October 1st 2021 and will be available through Bandcamp on digital and limited edition compact cassette with hand printed inserts.

After taking a hiatus for ten years, Freak Seven recorded and mixed this album in Manchester during 2019-2020. The album is a ten tracker running at a little over fifty minutes with its musical roots treading dark dubby waters, Manchester warehouses and Detroit Electronica

The album starts with ‘This Ain’t Hip Hop’ a mid tempo electro groove with a choppy sequenced dissonant synth bassline, TR808 drums and a string line at the end which is a head nod to New Religion and Al Nafyysh.

Ya Bosmang is the title track that starts off with a chin stroking chord progression and then steers into more visceral Beltalowda territory.

This Hurting In Me features the vocals of the wonderfully talented Victoria Unthank (no not those Unthanks but maybe a distant cousin?). A dark dragging bassline with minimal drums and a haunting vocal.

The album closes with ‘Drop It’ a tune that would fit quite easily in West London or a UR party somewhere in Detroit'

In addition to the perfectly balanced original, between the genres that shape deep and organic house, the EP also consists of two strong remixes signed by Greenage and Stranger Tourists!
