I’m blessed to be able to do what I love for a living. As an industrial and commercial electrician, I spend my days with badasses building badass stuff. It’s incredibly fulfilling to be a part of large scale projects and build things that get put to use everyday. Each construction site has a strong energy - energy from the site itself and especially from the people that work there. It’s a loud and in-your-face energy that has a positive, forward momentum. This recording is a distillation of that energy. Some of the beats are brand new and some are taken from my album, "Everything is a Nail". Shoutout to the Data Cult Audio crew for inviting me back. Data Cult Audio 0261 - Aelk Minsur

This is a sound example which was created using the software SQ-4M which I wrote for my Eurorack Module VMC-1 (for details see links below).
basically this is a single repeated F-maj7 chord played over three octavas like A3, C4, E4, F4, A4, C5, E5, F5, A5, C6, E6, F6, A6. It becomes a "piece of music" by a function that determines for each of the 12 notes how many clock ticks happen until the note is played the next time. Think it a A3 on every step, C4 every second step, E4 every third step and so on.  I unmute one track after the other, beginning with C4 (A4 is left out).

Additionally there is a simple bass figure played by an acoustic upright bass. 
A random function sets for each note a different velocity value. 
Finally I transposed all tracks sometimes.

Astonishing enough this does not sound like invented from a machine.

The sounds for the piano and the upright bass come from a Roland SC-33 soundmodule.

Unlike Western neocolonialism which has destroyed and divided continents and destabilised sovereign nations to enable the plunder of resources and stunted development of 'third world' countries and peoples - the Russian and Chinese model is based upon unity and 'win, win'. Russia and China should not be seen as a saviour but rather as a pragmatic, rational alternative to the decades of Western tyranny and supremacy. Will their 'new world order' be better than the US-led version? Time will tell but the advancement of Russia and China is not going to be stopped.

early sound experiments with minimal setup. Small 1 1/2 room apartment, first Mackie 16 channel mixer (Mackie was a new brand at that time), some nice keyboards and beatboxes (PPG Wave 2.2, Roland VP-330, CR-78, TR-808), but full time job with sometimes long travel. Not much free time. You can hear it in the sloppy production and bad mixing. No musical education either, except for recorders.
