Die Plattenspieler als Waffe der Wahl seit 1996 sind schon lange an den Nagel gehangen, das Timecode auch. CDJ's war da was?! ...
Ab jetzt digital only unterwegs. Keine Zwänge mehr, die einem die Vinylrille immer aufgedrückt hat. Keine springenden Nadeln, schwere Kisten oder an das Vinyl gebundene Übergänge mehr. Totale Freiheit der Loops auf 4 Decks wird propagiert und zelebriert. Filter und Effekte dabei eher weniger. Lieber die Kreativität in Trackselection und -transistion stecken.
Viel Spass beim driften...

...obwohl Timecode könnte mich doch glatt nochmal abholen

Ick bin ein Berliner..... Schön war es, aber nach über 12 Jahren hat es mich wieder in die Heimat gezogen. :D
Seit 2023 wieder based in Jena. Denn auch woanders muss gebangt werden. Aber meine Einflüsse aus über 15 Jahren Berliner Clubkultur, kann ich dann doch nicht einfach abschütteln.

So langsam wird Peter konkreter. Es wurde ein Tapetenwechsel vorgenommen, endlich wieder frische Luft. Und die Zeit mal wieder in einige Neuanschaffungen investiert. Die Leute sind netter, die Aufheller besser, die Nächte länger,die Soundanlagen lauter. Kurzum, der Frühling steht vor der Tür. Den lässt man da jetzt natürlich nicht stehen... sondern bittet selbigen gekonnt herein. Schauen wir doch mal was da wieder rauskommt.

Turntables have been the weapon of choice since 1996 but have long since served their purpose, timecode too. CDJ's was there something? ...
From now on digital only on the road. No more constraints imposed by the vinyl groove. No more jumping needles, heavy boxes or transitions tied to the vinyl. Total freedom of loops on 4 decks is propagated and celebrated. Filters and effects are less important. It's better to put your creativity into track selection and transistion.

I am a Berliner..... It was nice, but after more than 12 years I was drawn back home. :D
Based in Jena again since 2023. Because you also have to bang somewhere else. But I can't just shake off my influences from over 15 years of Berlin club culture.

Peter is slowly becoming more concrete. There was a change of scenery, finally some fresh air again. And the time has been invested in some new purchases. The people are nicer, the brighteners better, the nights longer, the sound systems louder. In short, spring is just around the corner. Of course, you don't just leave it there... but rather invite it in. Let's see what comes out of it.
