Javi Bora and Le Vinyl reignited their winning collaboration with this searing four-tracker on Steve Bug's Audiomatique label. Both hailed from Spain and were heavily influential in the notorious party capital of Ibiza – with Javi Bora as Kehakuma resident DJ at Spaze Ibiza – it was fair to say that both of these guys knew how to lay down tracks that worked crowds to the bone. Luckily, this release did all that and more.

'Momma’s Tale' was a slick, punchy and epic jam that somehow managed to keep its tension throughout the track, building into an unstoppably infectious groove.
Sacha D'Flame added soulful, classic-house-infused vocals to bring the whole thing to a floor-wrecking climax. Also included was a Dub Mix for DJs who preferred the more stripped down approach.

'Heart Roaring' was another main room bomb waiting to go off. Its swirling groove and sharp, funky programming was reminiscent of Detroit house masters such as Rick Wilhite and Norm Talley, and was sure to wreak serious damage when dropped at peak time.

Q: You recently signed to KOMPAKT. A dream became true?

A: Haha - well, I feel like I’m dreaming. I didn’t only just sign to Kompakt, I feel like I found a new home for myself and my music. The entire Kompakt team has been so wonderful. I feel extremely lucky and very excited for what will come in 2018.

Q: Tell us about your selection. How did these tracks find the way to your heart once?

A: This was way more fun to put together than expected. I ended up recording precisely 100 minutes for your no. 100 series which I thought was pretty cool as I didn't intend to do it. I put my set together in a way to present my journey from 1998 all the way through to my first release on Making You Dance Records (as Ańii) from early 2016. This gave me the opportunity to go back in time which brought back a ton of memories! I hope that after listening to my set that you will understand a bit more about me.

Q: Which Anii projects are coming this year?

A: I’m taking it slow for the time being as I am very excited about my first Kompakt 12" EP which is out in March and already working on another release for them. Right now I am doing a remix for a really cool Indie band Cults which should be out in late-January.

PABLoKEY is a Los Angeles DJ and record producer, a multi-talent musical dynamo who has been an in-demand force in the studio and on the decks since the young age of 15. PABLoKEY has already had a musical journey that is unique and soulful to say the least. Inspired by the deep roots of the indigenous Colombian Folk and musical culture, it was a natural progression for PABLoKEY to take his jazz and Latin music influences and training into Electronic music.

With confidence at his side, PABLoKEY moved back to Los Angeles, CA in the fall of 2005 signed with Vicious Recordings and LatinTronik Booking Agency, and they were instrumental in putting him on the LA radar. PABLoKEY also found himself inspired and drawn to the LA Underground scene, and soon gained the respect and trust on the decks by his fellow peers and LA’s promoters who’ve paired him up with the likes of Art Department, Sharam, Mikael Stavostrand, Walker Barnard, Pezzner, Simon Baker, Dubfire, Magda, Konrad Black, Matthew Dear, Adam Beyer, Ida Engberg, Oliver Ho, Nikola Baytala, Ralf Kollman, Lee Foss, Jamie Jones, Amirali, Derrick May, Sebo K, Pan-Pot, Anja Scheneider, Sascha Dive, Erphun, Raiz, Drumcell, Android Cartel aka Dance Spirit, Luna City Express, Dave Seaman, Wasted Chicago Youth among others, hosting and headlining his own night at Avalon’s Hollywood infamous Honey Lounge and having a resident DJ spots in Mexicali and Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.

Now-days, signed on labels such as Bunny Tiger Dubs [GER], Krafted Music [UK], DTLA [USA], Beesound Recordings [COL], Illegal Ghost [UAE], Onlabel Records [COL], THC Recordings [COL], KMT Records [ARG], WHA! Records [COL], Deep Taste [COL], and his very own Oblivio Records [SWE]. Remixing for various other labels such as Savia Park [ECU], Rezongar Music [ARG], Glow Music [COL], Absence Records [COL] among others.
At the age of 29, PABLoKEY already has accomplished what takes most the better part of the 20s and early 30s. This only assures us that we still have much to see and hear from this young and fast rising talent bringing the fresh sounds of Deep House, Tech House, House and Techno ….with of course a splash of Colombian soul.
