2024 has unarguably been a great year for Electro both with overall visibility for the public as well as with the sheer number of quality releases being put out over the year. With a newfound buzz surrounding my beloved genre, I'm hardly keeping up! Stefan began DJing in 1994 in Lille, in the north of France. He was a former resident DJ at the Kiosk club in Lille from 2004 to 2006. After many years immersed in the techno scene, he met Florence in the mid-2010s, who provided him with opportunities to perform at Les Charades Électroniques shows and with EC Underground web radio from 2015 to 2022. Now, Stefan plays various kinds of electronic music, consistently delivering a mental sound.

Currently based in San Francisco, Andreas combines his love for music with his studies in computer science. Operating under the alias Tygre (@djtygre), he immersed himself in the darker realms of electro, techno, and drum and bass from 1997 to 2000. After a prolonged hiatus, Tygre, inspired by the hypnotic sounds of electro, techno, and drum and bass, is back to spread his passion for music, the art of mixing, and the creation of mesmerizing sonic journeys.

CAREBOT$ (raising money for the NHS and Médecins Sans Frontières)

In aid of NHS Charities Together and Médecins Sans Frontières, Bass Agenda Recordings have put together a compilation with a whopping 128 tracks from some of the pioneering forces in electro and techno, as well as a wealth of exciting newcomers. After 100 releases on the label, Bass Agenda boss Andy had planned to take a break but as the pandemic worsened he felt impelled to do something tangible to help. With artists like Carl Finlow, Dez Williams and Radioactive Man involved, the compilation titled Carebots will be available in full on 15th May with four tracks up for grabs straight away.
This Compilation includes:
