The bells in Cathoder were designed with OpFour, a synthesizer developed by Katsuhiro Chiba based on the classic Yamaha TX81Z. In Prelumina, I recorded the stabs directly with the Moog Minitaur.

When John Tejada releases new music, it's always a good moment for pricking up your ears. Like hardly anyone else, Tejada is always able to reinvent himself without losing the high recognition value. His brand new 3-tracker "Wild Ride" shows him without a doubt in spring mood. Opener "Vereor" is a good-humored, razor-sharp tech-funker in classic Tejada style. "Wild Ride" and "Infinism" harken back to the sound of the formative Kompakt years, when artists like Dettinger, Jonas Bering and SCSI-9 defined a new minimal sound that was as elegant as it was emotional, and which feels surprisingly contemporary again in Kompakt's thirtieth year.
