It was 29/4/2015, the very last day of my 2nd season studying North Indian Classical Music (a.k.a Hindustani Music)under the guidance of Sukhdev Prasad Mishra in Varanasi. So I took my friend and tabla accompanist Naveen Bhasker to the studio and told him "We have one hour... Let's just do what we do when we practice together". So we recorded Raag Bhairav in one single take, taking short pauses between the movements. It was the first time we played without looking at each other and my first attempt at recording an Indian Raga in classical form. I have no presumption of considering this a perfect rendition of Raag Bhairav.  I'm well aware that for me there's  a long road ahead which I'm treading happily:) However I think the adrenaline factor helped somehow and I'm satisfied with what we did. And although a few days later I did some mix and mastering with the invaluable help of my friend and amazing musician Juan Tepui in Dharamsala, I cared to keep the natural live character of the recording, as it would sound in concert. Editing has been kept to minimum, wrong notes are there and a few parasite sounds too. I Hope you'll all enjoy it! Thanks forever to my Guruji!

I am honored to have teamed up with the Grammy-Award winning woodwind player Nancy Rumbel and my beloved long-time friend  Celtic harpist David Michael to create a unique new World Fusion sonic journey, entitled "Confluence" - the newest release from my recording studio.

An abundance of riches are added by a talented cast of our friends: Michael Mandrell (guitar), Richard Russell (sarode), Sean Frenette (bass), Mark Eubanks (Oregon Symphony’s long-time principal bassoonist), and Steve Gorn (Grammy-Award winning bansuri flutist.)

I'm sharing the title track of Confluence here as an invitation to listen further. This album has so many flavors and textures, which I hope will guide you on a timeless journey to the far reaches of your imagination...

From sound therapy to Avant-Garde music, Pablo is an eclectic multi-instrumentalist, composer and sound-therapist to whom music is above all a sadhana (spiritual path), a love gift to be shared and a flying carpet. He believes that Music, with it's endless possibilities, is a sound simile of the universe itself in a human creative scale. As such it can be molded by body, mind, heart and soul to transport us to a parallel dimension where we can act out and consciously manipulate our own psychic world achieving healing and transformation as in a shamanic process. Be it through simple listening or through active making, music connects us to the Self and testifies to our oneness-with-all nature.
 
The music offered in this page is intended to be listened to with headphones (or a high-fidelity stereo system)as much as possible and a calm intent listening attitude. Most pieces have a wide dynamic range so beware of turning the volume too loud or too low. 

Eventually I may upload my performances of songs/pieces that are not mine and I don't own the copyright of. All I can say is that I do it for love and I'm not getting rich with that...it's just for our enjoyment and the CR holders can be glad that their name and music is reaching people far and wide in the world that otherwise might have never heard of them.  As to my own compositions/performances there is no copyright thing, I don't believe in it. I just hope that if you like it you will come to see me perform when i'm in your city and that you may credit me if you use it for any other purpose.
