This song was written for an upcoming project I have been working on with my father.  He filmed his lotus pond when it was in full bloom at his home in Napa valley a few years ago.  After painstakingly editing all the various clips together, he brought the moving imagery down to my studio and recorded an hour long piece to it.  This is a preview of the fruits of our labour. Listening Through a Window

This is a collaborative effort between Pablo Manzarek and DJ Paul Edge on a remix of the track "Listening Through A Window" (aka release urself) which appears on Pablo Manzarek's new album "Reflections Of Life"  This track was stolen by DJ Paul Edge and licensed to the television program "CSI" without my knowledge.

Pablo Manzarek has been creating electronic music since the early 90's. He has a vast knowledge of audio/sequencing software and hardware, as well as possessing the ability to play drums, keyboards, and string instruments.

Born in 1973 and raised in Los Angeles, son of Ray Manzarek; keyboardist of The Doors. Pablo has a history in music, and since his childhood has felt its influence. It all began when his father introduced him to the piano, an old arp synthesizer and a portable cassette deck. From there it was on to, drum machines, synths, samba classes, 4 track tape decks, high school bands, digital audio workstations, studios, etc.

In 1994 he co-founded the indie label Lo-Tek Records. The music was his take on things that had inspired him throughout his life. Pablo went on to a recording engineering school in San Francisco to gain the mystical knowledge of the studio arts. He then returned to LA and founded Carpet Bomb Records in 1996, with mutual friends. The label released three albums in which Pablo's work appears.

Additionally, around 1997, Pablo was seeking to start a band. It would be a new achievement to create a band which fused electronica with traditional rock elements, and also, playing live on stage without the aid of recordings.He proceeded to split his brain in half; left hand for bass and right hand for melody, following in the footsteps of his father. Forming a band named AI. They shopped a demo around to various labels, winding up in a deal with Dreamworks Records. They eventually teamed up with Chris Vrenna (of Nine Inch Nails) as producer. The self titled album was released in August of 2002.

These days, Pablo is mostly splitting his time between being a family man, and furthering his love of music. Most recently he created tracks for the band Rites of Ash's remix album, and he is working with Todd Gray on a live visual art performance of african elements blended with electronica and general exoticness. Pablo is also presently creating songs with his father on various interesting musical adventures, and collaborating with his wife on vocals entitled; Noah's Star. His first full length album titled Reflections of life was released april 2010 on the Satya Dharma Music label.
