The Espionage is a high-stakes sonic journey through the world of covert operations. Barcelona-based Corsican DJ and producer Groenogen's Syncretism EP offers a compelling dive into the interplay of contrasts—light and dark, past and present. Each of its four tracks crafts a narrative rooted in the dualities of human emotion, taking cues from the richly layered soundscapes of 90s progressive house. The EP's textural complexity, fused with electro-inspired patterns and a nod to 2000s tech-house sensibilities, creates an auditory experience that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.
