Eleven years ago in the early days of my YouTube channel, I curated a super Soulful House Set and titled it "Summer Soulstice" with a play on words for that year's upcoming Summer Solstice. I did a "Part 2" a couple of years later and then totally forgot about the series. Fast forward to tonight the eve of this year's Summer Solstice (June 20th, around 4:50pm) and here we are. This mix is packed with jams totally fit for the summer of '24. First up, the  “Original Vocal” and “Instrumental” Mixes that let Regisford’s bumping bass, jazzed up piano, swelling strings and spiritual keys shine under Wilson’s stellar vocal performance. Secondly, the “Alternative Vocal Mix” switches the percussion of the original opting for more congas, shakers and bongos whilst leaving the claps at bay to give a deeper interpretation of the original. Finally, the “Alternative Dub” drops the vocals of this alternate version completing what is another standout release from Timmy Regisford that captures the soulful essence of 2018.
