After the release of the first singles Sale Sole & Jamba Club earlier this year, we’re happy to present the full album of Viscardi & Il Duo Magnetico, the quirky and irresistible lovechild of the Genevans @pascalviscardi , Yavor Lilov and Alain Sandri.

The 8-track album is a unique and contemporary version of Italian pop, sent on a digital journey through sunny Boogie and Mellow Reggae, Art Pop and Ambient New Age. The songs draw on a vocabulary composed of fragmentary images, unusual verses and original assonances, where maritime themes mix with the grey of the city and the Neapolitan dialect sparsely appears. The journey sounds like dreaming of Campania beaches in the midst of Geneva traffic, or fantasising about speeding motorboats and Balearic bonfires while listening to Enzo Carella on the sixth floor of a council building. And then dance until the sun rises on the last slow song of the night.

Pablo is part of the @pachangadjs collective, a multi sided crew, who kind of looks like us hehe 🫂, Djs, Diggers, behind a really nice YT channel & promoters in Madrid, they are the young generation of the Spanish capital’s « underground ». We met him during our time in Madrid last year, around a mad gig in Malasana with Pascal, we stayed in touch, sending regularly musical discoveries to each other 🤍🎶

This episode is a well balanced mix between the prog vibe we cherish and his iberian influences. Really happy to share it with you today ⚡️

Hedonism is something that can be understood at many levels of our mundane existence. As a personal stance, it can help us navigate the sensorial maze of the world around us by setting a course towards seizing life and its delights. As a collective ideal, it provides a shared purpose in seeking pleasure, which can be a strong communal bond. Nevertheless, it is both a driving force and a guiding principle for us to do what we love most, alone or together. And nothing in the brief history of our species on this planet has shown to be a better catalyst for it than the power of organised sounds. Music can entice feelings and excite thoughts, but its ability to bring us to ecstatic states and keep us there is why its role is so central to our core concept here. Even more so, because it operates beyond and beneath time, as its effects over us manage to accelerate, slow or even suspend our perception of it altogether.
