We are back with a new mix! Hope you are enjoying the summer 🌞On this occasion we have the pleasure of welcoming the talented Good Block duo!

Producer, DJ, designer duo Good Block have self released three EP's - ‘’Naiad / Dryad’, Aquaculture’ and ‘4 Corners EP’ after 10 years of hosting parties across London. With an added array of remixes and edits released on the likes of Planet Trip, Heels & Souls, Duca Bianco and Orange Tree.  

Aside from drip feeding edits to their renowned dropbox folder the duo have performed around the world in venues and festivals such as Glastonbury, Le Sucre, Tate Modern, Brilliant Corners, Nuit Sonores, Caracol, Selvagem and Skate Cafe. Putting out mixes on platforms such as NTS, Worldwide, Noods, LYL Radio, Kiosk, Rinse FM, LYO, Gop Tun and Planet Trip, the duos all encompassing musical ethos results in DJ sets that smudge the line between genres.

Up & coming: Good Block host Raphäel Top-Secret at Sweeties (The Standard London) on Friday 28th July and have a vinyl release coming on Duca Bianco next month as well as working on in the studio on new material.

Our current guest mastered the craft of weaving these rhythmic threads in enthralling tales that take us across not just grooves and moods, but entire worlds of sounds and sensations. This is what happens when someone is imbued with a mission that goes beyond a mere profession and what Romain FX brings to every single one of his endeavours, especially exquisite mixes such as this one that carries an unrelenting energy throughout, constant but far from being linear.

The fast up and coming Brazilian DJ & producer Bárbara Boeing steps up for our latest Phonica mix dedicated to the gates of heaven. If you have not heard of Bárbara yet, fear not, you will; Having just dropped her killer debut release on Toy Tonics in May and already having smashed sets out for the likes of Dekmantel Selectors, Boiler Room and Permanent Vacation we can clearly see this is nothing but an up hill trajectory for the talent. For this set Bárbara is bringing us to the day party, the closing of the Summer set if you will. Perfectly built up with a a solid mixture of taste and fun. This is one to get on before you go out but also one for a couple of wines in the park bidding fairwell to the Sun for another year. We chat to Bárbara about the mix, her approach to DJing and what she has coming up next:

With a reputation for the unexpected and exciting, often in the same beat, Jack's freestyle approach and genre-bending selections are hard to define and even harder to do without.
