For the inaugural edition, we've invited DJ, producer, crate digger pur sang and dear friend MLiR. He delivered a mix that plays like a mirage: humid, pulsing, and slightly out of reach. Dusty rhythms rise like heat from sunbaked earth, synths shimmer like moonlight on black water, and low-slung basslines guide us through jungle clearings.

Nothing here is rushed. Tempos stretch and sway. Each track is a step deeper into the unknown, stitched together with a gentle hand and an ear tuned to atmosphere over genre. Synth pop melts into dream-state house, lo-fi textures wash against crystalline grooves, and the edges blur—until all that’s left is feeling.

This is what it means to go Off Course: no algorithms, no directions, just intuition—and a desire to get beautifully lost.

Chez has a style that is hard to put your finger on, as Rio 017 well demonstrates. Recorded on the opening night of Bonanza, Chez kicked the terrace into action with a chuggy but cheerful selection of swampy groovers. 

Moving seamlessly from heads down tech house to breaks and EBM-ish numbers, Rio 017 is peppered with flecks of acid, swaying basslines and plenty of character.
