People have been using them for 1000s of years to help uncover the immense benefits it offers. It is devised to solve problem so use them regularly.
The context of the chants / jaapas are not easily understood today since they are in Sanskrit — a language that is not commonly used today. In this edition, we are attempting to create awareness about these mantras by translating them in English with the purpose of reaching out to a larger audience and hence allowing its benefits to a greater number of people. Sun is the centre in our universe. All the planets and its satellites and us are orbiting round the sun. The sun rays which travels at 300000 km per second is the fastest known source of travel. But is sun stationary? No, It’s a continuous state of transformation happening because of which we see the world around us. He is the source of living for all animals and plantations. He is the ultimate source of our knowledge. Since everything is orbiting around sun, it means we are constantly changing our positions with respect to the positioning of other planets thereby encountering different situations in our life through out. If we understand our own complete life cycle we are also in a continuous state of transformation like the sun thereby exhibiting the property of sun. Mother Earth receives sun rays which is both mass and energy and converts them into various forms of life cycle thus continuously completing the process of evolution.
Knowledge which is a continuous state of transformation, like sun, is our identity. This knowledge in us is mostly stored and communicated in the form of sound. All parts in our body vibrate at different frequencies producing different types of sound. The sound produced by different organs like heart,kidney,liver,lungs can only be experienced but cannot be produced on our tongue. Our body is the greatest example of different functions or vibrations aligned systematically so that we exist in harmony with the nature.
The ancient Indians clearly knew the universal laws understood the power and importance of sound. The kavacha mantras are an extention of this realization. It’s a sequence of sound arranged in a particular manner so that by reciting or listening to the same one gets the desired results.They had created kavacha mantra to appease each and every planets so as to avail protection from them in their difficult situations.
