It’s called The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism., but is simply referred to as THE BOOK by the revolutionary group The Brotherhood, that has Goldstein as it’s leader. We begin today’s program as Winston is reading this book at their inner city hideaway apartment.

We left off as our heroes Winston and Julia were caught red handed for seditious acts against the government. The old rundown urban apartment safehouse was actually a setup. Both Julia and Winston were taken down to a secret government interrogation torture center. Winston can see horror all around him but he is resolved that he will somehow survive this. And if not him, the next person like him will succeed. Winston has just learned about ROOM 101. The most feared room in the world.
