Nyquist X Ghost Rook - Sanctuary

A very dry signal chained bass simpler track. 

I had some fun with this one and was trying to make the most swinged out track possible. A lot of bass design was created for the album in this project. Its always fun when the sound design session turns into a full on track.

FACESHIFT

The Widdler is a leading figure in what has been deemed the "Deep Dub Renaissance."  Born in Tel Aviv and now living in Austin, The Widdler has been playing and producing music since he was 10. He has shared stages with contemporaries such as Beats Antique, GJones, Rakim, and Tipper. His organic, melodic, tribal and otherworldly sounds are challenging the paradigm in the dub step community.  Avoiding stereotypical dubstep drops, The Widdler opts instead for crescendos that soothe and invigorating drops leave you feeling cleansed.  

Channelling a shamanic approach to bass dub fusion, "Ogo" melds sounds from both past and future; communicating with wobbly booms and sparkling arpeggios what could be an audio essay on evolution. Vibes on this EP range from a minimal, almost bubbly interpretation of dubs in tracks like Space Balloon and Lobster Trap, to spooky beats that slither and sink deep in the title track Ogo.
