Packer & Rhodes (Greg Packer & Danny Rhodes) are a producer collaboration from Perth & Brisbane, Australia respectively. Their work began with the Shureshock Project in 2010 and the partnership formed from that point. Danny Rhodes has since moved to New York in late 2014.

Interphase CEO. The man who began the legacy. Greg Packer is the man who started it all, the Interphase father and creator of Australia’s premier Drum & Bass Record Label.

For over 20 years the name Greg Packer has been synonymous with Australian Jungle & Drum & Bass. Packer is considered to be one of the pioneers of dance music in Australia and was the first Australian DJ to play the fledgeling genre in the country, not to mention the first to play it on national radio during Triple J’s “Mix Up” in 1994.

With ever-increasing success as a DJ since the early 90′s, his achievements as a producer have continued to establish his dominance both locally and overseas with releases on a labels including LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking Records, 31 Records, New Identity, Tangent, Renegade, Phuturistic Bluez, Jerona Fruits and Fokuz to name a few. With over 100 releases, remixes, CDs, mixes and collaborations with the world’s top D&B, Hip-Hop and Dancehall fraternity spanning over 20 years, it’s no wonder he is considered by the cream of D&B players to be one of the stalwarts in the industry.

Danny Rhodes

Danny Rhodes is a Brisbane-born electronic music producer who has soared into the limelight considerably since his early beginnings as a trained classical pianist. 

Not only has he achieved a key role as producer for the acclaimed Shureshock (www.mcshureshock.com) Project (parts 1, 2 & 3), he was a founding member of electronic act 'Kleinzeit', keys player for 'Liquid Wax' & 'Onioncak', and has also been an essential composer/arranger for the Queensland Ballet and Expressions Dance Company with performances such as “Thread” and “Message Me” which toured nationally.

Able to craft anything from atmospheric, ambient soundscapes to urban hip hop arrangements or from cinematic break-beats to rolling drum & bass, Danny Rhodes has established himself a leading light of the Australian music production industry. He is sought after for his amazing creative ability to diversify and deliver quality music.

With local, national and global collaborations on the way, remixes on-the-go, Danny Rhodes is a name not only to remember, but to ask for. 

He now resides in New York City, USA.
