Hello there,
just wanted to drop this off here for you in return of all the amazing support you have all given me. 

This song really doesn't make any sense. I had too much fun with it.
i picked up my guitar and let the "Rage Against The Machine" in me go wild. 
I even recorded myself screaming "EVERYBODY RAGE" right before the rock drop. Then i got a bit melodic, followed by a funky bounce drop! Manipulating a sample i recorded on my iphone using my voice, i wanted to give the lead in the drop a really rough and fat sound. And it almost sounds like a fart. but it still pretty fat haha. then i even got tricky with the "Booty in your face" vocal. Towards the end of the 2nd "verse" you can hear i started using the vocal sample with more of a harmonizing affect, and hitting 3 notes at a time. even tho the higher notes make the sample go faster, i made sure it worked! 

So yea! This one is all over the place. no specific theme.
oh! and i screwed up and didn't realize i was at 127bpm.
sooo yea! thats the bpm, sorry!

For many years now, he has been a frequent act and we are very pleased to officially

When we started throwing our Dancing On The Charles parties next to Boston’s most famous river back in 2008 we had no idea it would become the inspiration for a now annual music compilation showcasing the immense talent of Boston's electronic music producers. In fact we had no idea we’d ever even have our own record label! Yet, here we are in 2014 proudly presenting the second edition of DOTC. A collection of music embodying the spirit and persistence that once fueled those epic riverside summertime parties and continues to guide the Boston dance music scene. 
 
Dancing On The Charles Volume 2 picks up where Volume 1 left off and features an even more diverse range of music. An overall deep feeling is this years’ theme as we dive into a 4 track DJ Sampler to lead up to the full 13 track compilation. 

Featuring repeat contributors and new Soul Clap Records recruits: Tuck Diggz (working alongside Mystery Roar), Tate  Masimore aka Chas Bronz (who presents his new project The Sheffield Boys with young guns Smeed & Suspence), Bon Jonson (this time appearing as Nightriders), and all around disco dude Brenden Wesley, round out the sampler and give us a taste of what is to come from the full compilation.

Returning to the comp is quickly rising deep house talent Caserta, our favorite afro-funk producer of 2013, Bosq (who has teamed up with us, Soul Clap), Bon Jonson (this time appearing as Nightriders AND Peyote Purple), Tate Masimore aka Chas Bronz (who presents his new project The Sheffield Boys with young guns Smeed & Suspence), and of course the smoothest of the smooth Roldy Cezaire. New artists include: Boston tech-house staple Tamer Malki, former Phoenix Landing resident D-Lu (this will be her very first release!), disco-connector Serge Gamesbourg and all around disco dude Brenden Wesley, Tuck Diggz (working alongside Mystery Roar) and new Boston transplant James Cook who we've been following since his college days and are finally getting out on our label!

Time flies when you’re having fun. Six more years can blink by and who knows where we’ll be. One thing’s for sure, we’ll never forget where we came from and Dancing On The Charles Volume 2 is our latest tribute to our hometown.

Following on from their kraut disco and love-soaked 'Trauermusik' and 'Telescope' EPs, the two released 'Taifa' on Monday and the track, that's backed by a great Emperor Machine, get's its full online premiere here.

The track follows a similar style to the rest of their productions, maintaining a cosmic and otherworldly feel, combining disco and house elements to create a rolling and infectious cut. Check it.
