Jethro Heston re-asserts himself as one of the UK’s most exciting underground prospects with his first release of 2017.

His upbeat, vocal house cut, features acclaimed Baltimore singer/songwriter Max Marshall (who previously featured on Matrix & Futureboard’s Top 10 smash ‘Control’). Blending crunching beats, melodic synths and a hook-laden bassline, Jethro’s new heater incorporates old-school tempo and soulful vocals to solid effect.

Jethro Heston continues his reputation as of the UK’s most exciting underground prospects with his second release of 2017 – a murky, edgy banger ft. emerging London vocalist SJ Green.

Following the notable success of his first track of the year – a remix of Cardboard Foxes’ ‘Cut Me Loose’ featuring Baltimore singer/songwriter Max Marshall, Jethro continues the output quality with a deeper sound. ‘Spend Some Time’ is a significantly darker offering – metallic synths and a treble to baritone vocal drop takes this cut straight back to the 90s warehouse raves - this is the kind of house to resonate off of dancefloors.

A more sophisticated, considered side to Jethro on this track, ‘Spend Some Time’ was both written and produced by the artist and underlines the quality levels and direction the emerging producer is leading towards. We said on his first release that if there’s more where this came from in terms of immediate warehouse-level danceability, Jethro’s future was bright indeed.
