Hailing from Te Whanganui-a-Tara, 9cups is the latest musical venture from longtime musician, beatmaker and now emerging DJ, Maz Hermon. 9cups is a house producer & DJ who grew up on boom-bap hip hop and now crafts uplifting, groove-heavy soundscapes designed for movement and joy. Sampler, synthesizer, and drum machine lover, 9cups’ happy place is a freshly made beat bounced to a dub plate to share with people dancing in the sun in front of some big subs.
