I first wrote the main electric piano hook for this song several years ago and discovered it again not too long ago.  I liked the 5/4 time signature and floaty feel of it so thought I'd see what I could do with it.  Like a few of my tunes of late, I suppose it could be classed as a 'remix' given the source of the vocal lines, but I don't think my version here sounds much (at all!) like the original...

Aire Libre 105.3FM in Mexico City asked me to play a little Jam at their Studio for Dia de los Muertos. I love to collect music from all kinds of genres, moods and times and have them in my library until the day i find a good context to play them out. For me, the beauty of DJing is the flexibility, to always find the perfect tune for the moment. And the moment is always different....
For this occasion, i selected some extra psychedelic, dark and somewhat experimental tracks. Some of tunes are real gems that i have since years, but never played them.... so i'm happy i finally found a good fit for them!

I made this mix a little while ago, just when all the clubs closed down. Sadly, we lost our opportunities to meet, dance, laugh, share and enjoy the events that Berlin has to offer... 
Just a week after I moved to this magical city with a lot of motivation, everything suddenly happened. So unlucky coming here at such a bad time, starting from the beginning in a new country. But now I feel more patient and hoping that this will be over very soon and we can all dance together again <3
