Alex brightened my morning not too long ago when he let me listen to an instrumental track he played the night before. I loved it, it was addictive. He just called it Diggin-it, because he was into the beat. Immediately ideas came rushing into my head to play on its double meaning, and since it was hard to explain in a message how I was seriously going to sing a song about Diggin-It, I sat down at my table and in two hours wrote and recorded the vocal track . He loved it. It was addictive. So he sent it on to Ed Haydon who not only added the piano and keys but masterfully pulled it all together with his Sound Engineering skills.  This song has been nothing less than inspired by these two talented and beautiful men and if it gets you going too, and if the tune also gets stuck in your head, then our job is done.  Enjoy!

Padruna is the daughter of an opera singer & classical choir director (this is mom) and a language professor, poet and author (this is dad.) You can guess that she grew up loving the performing arts!

Born and educated in Boston, Massachusetts, Padruna spent her intermediate years growing up in Lucca, Italy. She holds degrees in Fine Arts, Biology, Psychology and International Law. Like spokes on a wheel, both her education and world experience inform her singing at every level. Traversing the adult contemporary music to re-imagined classical rock, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
