As I've been told, the idea about the new label came to him during the lockdown and the name of the first EP (which is “Micro Wave EP”) came after his favorite Waldorf Micro Wave XT synth. I did not ask about the idea behind the name of B2 on this EP, but it goes under the name “Celestial Freq”. Arno Gonzalez is producing a modern house sound that sometimes ventures into melodic territory close to Electronica, the Angevin artist was first spotted by the Parisian label Missive, then by Timid Records, on which he released his debut album “Encounters”, as well as a number of EPs and remixes...

Today, he is one of the spearheads and leaders of Brique Rouge, David Duriez's label, with whom he is on a mission to perpetuate and reinvent a certain vision of House and Techno music.

With this third album, which marks “the end of innocence”, Arno explodes the codes of his music to better transcend them. We find his inimitable touch, a particular sound that is sometimes minimal, sometimes warm and melodious, a real signature on 13 tracks that tells a real story.

If this is the end of innocence, it's also the beginning of maturity.

In an age where producing house music can be boiled down to just pressing a couple of buttons, we’re still fascinated by interpreting sound the way a human feels it. This isn’t an edit, nor an attempt to replay the past. It’s just a couple of chords that fell into place one late night — and somehow they sounded alike.

The house pioneers probably never thought their genre would one day live long enough to become postmodern. But that’s exactly where we are now.

For this release, we asked our dear friend Gold Phillingz to deliver a remix. Because life is a remix — while the classic remains the same.
